With two teenagers in the home, the homeowners wanted a space for entertaining both the adults and the younger set alike, a stone-clad bar and rounded seating area is set apart from the cozy movie-watching room next to it, but not completely secluded.

A luxury residence in Vail, Colorado featuring wire-brushed Bavarian Oak wide-plank wood floors in a custom finish and reclaimed sunburnt siding on the ceiling. Arrigoni Woods specializes in wide-plank wood flooring, both recycled and engineered. Our wood comes from old-growth Western European forests that are sustainably managed. Arrigoni's uniquely engineered wood (which has the look and feel of solid wood) features a trio of layered engineered planks, with a middle layer of transversely laid vertical grain spruce, providing a solid core. Built in cabinets were added on a diagonal under the wall mounted tv. Dark stained maple cabinets were built in to add storage to this lower level basement family room that walks out to a patio.

This contemporary farmhouse is located on a scenic acreage in Greendale, BC. It features an open floor plan with room for hosting a large crowd, a large kitchen with double wall ovens, tons of counter space, a custom range hood and was designed to maximize natural light. Shed dormers with windows up high flood the living areas with daylight. The stairwells feature more windows to give them an open, airy feel, and custom black iron railings designed and crafted by a talented local blacksmith. The home is very energy efficient, featuring R32 ICF construction throughout, R60 spray foam in the roof, window coatings that minimize solar heat gain, an HRV system to ensure good air quality, and LED lighting throughout. The living room in this mid-century remodel is open to both the dining room and kitchen behind. Tall ceilings and transom windows help the entire space feel airy and open, while open grained cypress ceilings add texture and warmth to the ceiling. Existing brick walls have been painted a warm white and floors are old growth walnut. White oak wood veneer was chosen for the custom millwork at the entertainment center.
