The business park decided to proceed with our products for several reasons. One reason was that they were able to come and see us at our facility and get a great feel for how the wall would look. Our team was able to show them exactly how the system worked, as well as showing them all the different customization options available. A wall was created behind the seating area with large sized leaves and grasses in ornamental clusters. Assorted spiky plants were added to introduce depth and contrast. To break up the uniformity, the team added a variety of extra shades of white and green to the wall with a smattering of ferns and thistles. A lot of Vistafolia® walls are simple rectangles because, let’s face it, most walls are rectangular. This particular retail store is all about standing out from the crowd and presenting their customers with a unique retail experience. The large timber wall in the bar presented a blank canvas to work with and our in-house design team set about creating a concept that was eye-catching and unusual. As our client is away from home a lot, the fact that the Vistafolia® foliage is seriously low maintenance was a major bonus, as was the fact that the wall can be customized with different color boxes should she fancy a change to suit the mood or season. They began the project by paving an area of the garden with naturally beautiful stone paving to form the floor of the seating area. Once all this was in place, it was our turn to help transform the area into a relaxing oasis for the client to enjoy with friends and family. The goal for this project was to hide all the air-conditioning units in the inner courtyard of the hotel. Premium rooms looked directly out on to air-conditioning units that were unsightly and noisy when running. Vistafolia® was asked to design a wall that was at least 12 feet high to obscure the view, but also allow access for maintenance of the machinery. We designed a timber-framed structure which we clad with Vistafolia® Signature Panels, adding additional foliage from our Color Boxes to create larger drifts of grasses and foliage with a small smash of color from some delicate light green/yellow flowers. The green wall privacy screen also provided an acoustic benefit, as it lowered the noise level of the air-conditioning units.
