I was asked to design a compact wet bar for the space under the stairs that led to the roof deck. Problem solved! This design features glass-door upper cabinets with a sink base and panels for the lower portion that were designed around a compact beverage center and a bar sink. Quartz counters and oil rubbed bronze faucet highlight this project. Sleek subway tiles in white provide the perfect backdrop for this small but useful space!

When it came to improving the design and functionality of the dry bar, we borrowed space from the adjoining closet beside the fireplace to gain additional square footage. After reframing the portion of the wall, we were able to start bringing the client’s vision to life—adding floating shelves on either side of the fireplace, and an open shelf for liquor and glassware. The dry bar backsplash features beautiful Carrera and Moonstone Evo Hex tile in polished marble mosaic.

This commercial bar has a 6cm Full-Bullnose Edge Detail to make the area more usable for the guests. The thicker edge gives it more stability for the obvious reasons. The lower portion has a round radius so guests can lean in and order their drinks without crowding others sitting at the bar.
