Truth: we like camping more than living our “real lives,” so we decided to take a stab at achieving a campsite feel in the bedroom. Full moon, bonfire, sticks, camp blankets, triangular mirrors that subtly suggest mountain peaks… you get the idea. This Miami Modern style custom bar replaced an old world dark wood style pub. This updated social gathering spot allows you to sit with your friends, enjoy a cocktail, and appreciate the commissioned art installation on the bar's backsplash wall, enhanced by wall-washed lighting. The italian bar chairs are upholstered in red leather and feature woven cane backs.

Inspiration for a small contemporary ceramic tile and gray floor family room remodel in Seattle

The original concept for this space came from the idea that this modern glass greenhouse would be built around an old wooden shed still standing beneath the trees. The "shed" turned Powder Room would of course be new construction, but clever materiality - white washed reclaimed vertical panelling - would make it appear as though it was a treasure from many years before.
