Beautiful original finish giltwood chair in the Louis XVI style. The chair has beautiful carved flowers, roses and instrumental motifs. Original giltwood has lovely aged patina and just a subtle distressed finish. We reupholstered this bergere in 100% organic washed Belgian linen, finished with a double welt edge. The seat is very comfortable with a slight pitched back, a perfect occasional chair. The legs are very solid and sturdy, this is a heavy weight well made chair, all hand-carved. Measures: 43" H x 28" W x 30" D Seat height 19".

In the formal living room, an antique empire table was added to complement the client's antique china cabinet. The client's bergere chairs were reupholstered in a large scale blue floral fabric.
