Eat-in kitchen - large eclectic galley eat-in kitchen idea in Boston with an undermount sink, beaded inset cabinets, blue cabinets, stainless steel appliances, an island, soapstone countertops, brown backsplash, wood backsplash and black countertops

This ocean-front shingled Gambrel style house is home to a young family with little kids who lead an active, outdoor lifestyle. My goal was to create a bespoke, colorful and eclectic interior that looked sophisticated and fresh, but that was tough enough to withstand salt, sand and wet kids galore. The palette of coral and blue is an obvious choice, but we tried to translate it into a less expected, slightly updated way, hence the front door! Kids bedroom features 3 pairs of bunks with rope ladders that were tied by a local fisherman. The bunks are full sized so adults are also comfortably. Each bunk contains a cubby and electric outlets. There is also built in storage beneath the bunks. The space creates a bold, bright and fun environment.
