The original primary bathroom, while spacious enough to be impressive, unfortunately fell short in terms of functionality. The shower was so cramped that no adult could use it comfortably. The odd angles, combined with the dark and outdated finishes, along with a massive built-in tub that consumed excessive space, made it clear that a complete transformation was needed. In our redesign, we introduced elegant walnut cabinetry and created a stunning centerpiece in the shower, featuring dual shower heads and dual handheld options. This transformation turned the client’s bathroom into a perfect morning oasis. The clients are absolutely thrilled with their revamped space, which offers a complete escape from their daily routines. Inspiration for a large transitional wood railing back porch remodel in Charlotte with a fireplace, decking and a roof extension

Spectacular Reverse 1.5 Story plan featuring full stucco exterior, tile roof, covered deck with built-in fireplace, Viking appliances. This open floor plan boosts beamed dining room ceiling and custom faux finishing walls.

Connected by a series of boardwalks and surrounded by a sea of Blue Oat Grass a small deck protected by an existing fence invites one for solitary contemplation.

We wanted to create a comfortable and tranquil retreat in this sunroom, a place where my clients could lounge and escape the world. We used oversized chaises, a soft color story, and interesting textures to accomplish this relaxed aesthetic. We layered warm, sandy creams and soft grays to create a casual, monochromatic palette that lends itself to a more subdued eclectic vibe and a truly relaxed atmosphere. We also made sure to incorporate a whole jungle worth of plants! Plants are the best way to bring life into your home. Not only do plants beautify your space, but they also have some pretty wonderful health benefits! They detoxify your home by improving indoor air quality. They are also known to boost your mood & lift your spirit!

Midwest college town Champaign, Illinois, is not exactly known for cutting edge residential architecture so when this custom contemporary was built in 1996 it was the talk of the town. Designed by architect G.T. Hardwick, it was commissioned by a local successful business owner who was retiring and desiring a slice of solitude amongst the trees. It's changed hands a couple of times since and was most recently purchased by a University of Illinois design school faculty member in 2018. The home was in dire need of updating and so the new owner turned to Jennifer Ott Design with the brief to completely update the kitchen and dining areas, creating a contemporary yet fun and welcoming vibe.
