To soften the stone retaining wall we installed a boxwood border with day lillies in the front for seasonal color. Cobblestone border was installed to meet new asphalt driveway

Boxwoods border the front walkway, entry, patios, and driveway, forming a low hedge. The red clay brick pavers in a herringbone pattern add a timeless appeal to the house. Small garden beds feature white-blooming favorites like Hydrangea arborescens Annabelle’, Gardenia jasminoides ‘Kleim’s Hardy,’ and Liriope muscari ‘Monroe’s White.’ For privacy, Buxus sempervirens ‘Skywalker’ was chosen for hedging.

Two years in the making this landscape creates a private space filled with formal gardens and ornaments. From the multilevel front entry beds, to the gardens surrounding the lawn, to the stunning rear design, the entire space is incredible. The rear terrace features a pool, outdoor kitchen, 3 levels separated by stone walls and stairs, a distant terrace at the top of a bluff that offers an unobstructed lake view, and pergola that highlights a stone statue. A dramatic entry with brick piers and apron opening to an asphalt driveway, ending in a drive court detailed with a cushwa brick medallion inlay. The drive is lined with the same brick curb that pulls from the brick inlay above the great window at the homes entry. The apron is also trimmed with a soldier course of brick.
