We updated the existing cabinets with new Cambria 3cm Blackwood Quartz countertops with T edge and a new Blanco top mount double bowl Diamond Anthtracite sink. The backsplash tile installed is 4 1/4 x 8 1/2 Black gloss subway tiles with 5/8 x 5/8 Bliss Linear accent (3 rows).

Mid-Century Remodel on Tabor Hill This sensitively sited house was designed by Robert Coolidge, a renowned architect and grandson of President Calvin Coolidge. The house features a symmetrical gable roof and beautiful floor to ceiling glass facing due south, smartly oriented for passive solar heating. Situated on a steep lot, the house is primarily a single story that steps down to a family room. This lower level opens to a New England exterior. Our goals for this project were to maintain the integrity of the original design while creating more modern spaces. Our design team worked to envision what Coolidge himself might have designed if he'd had access to modern materials and fixtures. With the aim of creating a signature space that ties together the living, dining, and kitchen areas, we designed a variation on the 1950's "floating kitchen." In this inviting assembly, the kitchen is located away from exterior walls, which allows views from the floor-to-ceiling glass to remain uninterrupted by cabinetry. We updated rooms throughout the house; installing modern features that pay homage to the fine, sleek lines of the original design. Finally, we opened the family room to a terrace featuring a fire pit. Since a hallmark of our design is the diminishment of the hard line between interior and exterior, we were especially pleased for the opportunity to update this classic work.

We transformed this kitchen from an outdated southwest style space to a classic Spanish style kitchen. The custom built in refrigerator and freezer was created by selecting various molding pieces and designing doors and side panels to replicate a Spanish antique. Inspiration for a mid-sized eclectic medium tone wood floor enclosed kitchen remodel in New York with a farmhouse sink, shaker cabinets, white cabinets, quartz countertops, multicolored backsplash, stainless steel appliances and no island

The original kitchen, although generous in size, was out of touch with our clients personal style. When a plumbing mishap caused significant damage to the space, the homeowners seized the opportunity to create the culinary workspace of their dreams. At the top of their wish list was a well designed kitchen, both aesthetically and functionally. State of the art appliances were selected based on the client's functional requirements and the optimal layout was tailored to family dinners and occasional entertaining. At the heart of the existing kitchen was a large and highly utilized island, keeping this was a high priority. An unused audio cabinet with outdated components was removed to create a much needed dry bar. The large refrigerator, and beverage fridge drawers were concealed behind custom made cabinetry panels and were positioned adjacent to the family seating area for easy access. Attributes such as spice storage, silver dividers and a tall pantry storage ensured everything had its place. Sherwin Williams, indigo batik (as seen on the island) was carried through the home allowing a visual connection throughout the home while the bright white perimeter cabinets created lightness and dramatic contrast. Brass hardware and decorative lighting gave the space a hint of understated glamour while pulling the warm tones found in the lattice of veining in the cambria quartz countertop. It is hard not to notice, however, the dramatic impact of the large ceramic, three dimensional, hexagon tiles that highlight the range wall. Companion subway tiles created continuity throughout the expansive kitchen, adorning the backsplash through the rest of the space.

This transitional white kitchen combines classic charm with modern functionality. Soapstone countertops pair beautifully with a Heath tile backsplash, while shaker-style cabinets and black hardware create clean, timeless lines. A farmhouse sink, pull-down faucet, and stainless steel plumbing fixtures enhance usability, and a woven Roman shade adds texture and warmth. Pull up a stool to this 13’ island! A wall of white picket backsplash tile creates subtle drama surrounding 54” hood and flanking windows. Integrated refrigerator and freezer panels both hinge right for easy access. Piano gloss cabinetry and modern gold sculptural chandelier add an unexpected pop of style.

This kitchen features mixed color cabinetry, beautiful soap stone countertops, hand-crackled subway tile backsplash, hardwood floors, and stainless steel appliances. One of our most robust collections, Tundra Gray is lovely neutral marble available in various-sized floor and wall tiles, backsplashes, countertops, thresholds, moldings, and even hardscape pavers and pool copings.

Our clients came to us because they were tired of looking at the side of their neighbor’s house from their master bedroom window! Their 1959 Dallas home had worked great for them for years, but it was time for an update and reconfiguration to make it more functional for their family. They were looking to open up their dark and choppy space to bring in as much natural light as possible in both the bedroom and bathroom. They knew they would need to reconfigure the master bathroom and bedroom to make this happen. They were thinking the current bedroom would become the bathroom, but they weren’t sure where everything else would go. This is where we came in! Our designers were able to create their new floorplan and show them a 3D rendering of exactly what the new spaces would look like. The space that used to be the master bedroom now consists of the hallway into their new master suite, which includes a new large walk-in closet where the washer and dryer are now located. From there, the space flows into their new beautiful, contemporary bathroom. They decided that a bathtub wasn’t important to them but a large double shower was! So, the new shower became the focal point of the bathroom. The new shower has contemporary Marine Bone Electra cement hexagon tiles and brushed bronze hardware. A large bench, hidden storage, and a rain shower head were must-have features. Pure Snow glass tile was installed on the two side walls while Carrara Marble Bianco hexagon mosaic tile was installed for the shower floor. For the main bathroom floor, we installed a simple Yosemite tile in matte silver. The new Bellmont cabinets, painted naval, are complemented by the Greylac marble countertop and the Brainerd champagne bronze arched cabinet pulls. The rest of the hardware, including the faucet, towel rods, towel rings, and robe hooks, are Delta Faucet Trinsic, in a classic champagne bronze finish. To finish it off, three 14” Classic Possini Euro Ludlow wall sconces in burnished brass were installed between each sheet mirror above the vanity. In the space that used to be the master bathroom, all of the furr downs were removed. We replaced the existing window with three large windows, opening up the view to the backyard. We also added a new door opening up into the main living room, which was totally closed off before. Our clients absolutely love their cool, bright, contemporary bathroom, as well as the new wall of windows in their master bedroom, where they are now able to enjoy their beautiful backyard!

Inspiration for an eclectic cement tile floor kitchen remodel in San Francisco with blue cabinets, gray backsplash and ceramic backsplash

This stunning kitchen went through a rough process to get this present state. Located in an older home, this kitchen had a lot of its original hardware and cabinets. A wall was demoed to open the space to the living area giving the kitchen more room to expand from its previous Galley kitchen style. Oakcraft cabinets make this kitchen glimmer and shine with Richelieu pulls. The Yellow River Granite countertop adds the sparkle with a backsplash of tile from Arizona Tile.

The original master bathroom was tiny and outdated, with a single sink. The new design maximizes space and light while making the space feel luxurious. Eliminating the wall between the bedroom and bath and replacing it with sliding cherry and glass shoji screens brought more light into each room. 

A custom double vanity with makeup area was added.
