The formal Dining Room was relocated to a more "public" area and affording access to a study beyond. These replaced an awkward pair of bedrooms, drastically improving the apartment layout. The custom built-in bar/buffet takes full advantage of the footprint, while combining beauty and function.

This niche was only 17" deep so a built-in buffet was designed to optimize this small space giving it big storage. Accent lighting highlights this little space and adds so much to this dining room.

Built-in dark brown stained buffet in the Dining Room with elegant clear glass knobs and pulls. Notice the clever use of a hand painted feather designed and painted by Fine Artist Tracie Thompson to soften the transition of the base trim color from black to white.

A built in serving area was incorporated to allow for food to be put out while entertaining. The center drawers are refrigerator drawers and hold beverages so that guests don't have to go inside to refill their drinks.

This stylish dining room features a large polished nickel drum shade pendant giving this room presence while defining space in an open floor plan. The built-in buffet provides maximum functionality in a small space. Soft blue paint and silk drapes create a monochromatic and elegant space.
