This farmhouse styled dining room brings the country to the seaside in this Rhode Island home. The rustic wood table is paired with the painted wicker chairs to further the country style with the calming colors of the ocean. The upholstered host and hostess chairs add dimension with the woven textured linen and stripe pattern. The sea blue painted hutch is built into the wall adding decor as well as extra storage. The cross beams that section off the ceiling bring the warm tone of the hardwood floors and table up to the ceiling.

Inspiration for a large 1960s medium tone wood floor and brown floor kitchen/dining room combo remodel in Minneapolis with gray walls and no fireplace

This dining room original built in buffet offers character and excellent storage. We decided to make an secondary seating area on this side to relax after dinner. Beautiful antique pieces with contemporary art finish this niche.

A dramatic before and after of this large space kitchen. After flattening out the "v" shaped bump in the wall, the breakfast area and kitchen would be able to be joined seamlessly. Features include beautiful white cabinetry and counters on the perimeter and a navy painted island with a navy/white quartz. The navy blue glass backsplash behind the range ties the island in effortlessly and a built-in buffet and hutch for the breakfast area.

This was a kitchen remodel for a family that wanted a transitional style kitchen with plenty of storage and places for the kids to eat and/or do their schoolwork. We brought in some rustic elements such as the wood backsplash and shelves along with the wooden and metal stools. Stainless steel appliances, chrome electrical and plumbing fixtures in addition to the hardware were brought in for a modern touch. To add a classic look to the design, we included brown Shaker cabinets, granite countertops, subway tile backsplash and porcelain floors. We incorporated a built-in buffet area with a pantry on each side to address their storage needs as well as stools at the island, a small dining table and a bench in the eating area for the kids to sit at. The family including the design team were extremely happy with the completed design and project.

The white paneled ceiling and box beams, the abundance of natural light streaming in from three sides of this light and airy living/dining room brighten the stained concrete floors and the antique brick reclaimed from the old home that was razed on this urban infill property.

The built-in buffet is made in Holiday Kitchens Regency style cabinetry in Nordic White on top and Coffee bean on Cherry wood bottom.

This light and airy kitchen got a whole new configuration. A wall was removed to allow for a substantial island with seating for four. Smart pull-out storage was incorporated into the corbels and posts for maximum function. The built-in buffet ties in beautifully with the island wood tones and provides plenty of storage and shelves for display.
