Pantry addition was made by using a spare closet on the other side of the wall as well as expanding into the kitchen space. Translucent glass allows a separate prep area and ample storage to be used without visual busyness or disruption to the clean, modern look of the main kitchen.

This bachelor wanted a cozy, warm, minimalist living space that he could come home and unwind to with enough room to host his friends. Earth tone colors were desired and accomplished through shades of cognac browns, textured grays, and green textiles. The huge windows with a view from the 21st floor overlooks the busyness of the city but has the interior space that is calm, cool, and collected with a splash of edginess.

The Client hired me to design their new home for entertaining while still keeping it comfortable and cozy for them and their contemporary art and furnishings. Using dark hardwood, warm grays and new velvet upholstery pieces add interest without visually busyness. The home entertains up to 50 people comfortably and maintain free.

As the warm light of dusk begins to fade, this backyard oasis invites you to come and relax in your favourite spot. The crackling of the wood fire backed by the silky murmur of the sheer decent is sure to carry you mikes away from the busyness of your day.
