The counter tops are white and the back splash is white marble with blue stone accents. It is reminiscent of a european cafe. I love the mix of textures, styles and color. This large dining area in the eat-in kitchen area allows for flexible entertaining. Custom cabinets were installed in the kitchen. Features include a breakfast counter, sprayed conversion lacquer coating and Caesar Stone counter tops with a waterfall edge. Contemporary white high gloss Crystal cabinets with Cambria white cliff counter tops is striking. Adding black painted walls and large scale black tile floors make it even more dramatic. But with the addition of orange light fixtures and colorful artwork, the kitchen is over the top with energy. With no upper cabinets only floating shelves for display the base cabinets are well planned for each functional work zone. a. The “Cooking Zone” hosts the 60” range top (with hood) and is the heart of the kitchen. The ovens, coffee system and speed oven are located outside of this zone and use the island/snack bar as their landing space. b. The “Prep Zone” includes the refrigerator, freezer, sink, and dishwasher c. The “Entertainment Zones” has a separate sink and dishwasher, the wine cooler and beverage center. A desk off to the side of the kitchen with a large roll up tambour to keep any mess hidden. Also their robot vacuums have a charging station under the files drawers in the toe kick. The design concept of this kitchen was inspired by the client's love of France. The materials are classic but very special; the marble tile has a silk-screened pattern overlay, the butcher block island top is walnut with a furniture finish, the creamy-white cabinets are a modified shaker with a beveled edge, and the counters are durable Calcutta porcelain. The amazing over-scaled vintage pendants from France and the sleek brass and linen counter stools give the space a modern and fresh feel.

The kitchen was stuck in the 1980s with builder stock grade cabinets. It did not have enough space for two cooks to work together comfortably, or to entertain large groups of friends and family. The lighting and wall colors were also dated and made the small kitchen feel even smaller. By removing some walls between the kitchen and dining room, relocating a pantry closet,, and extending the kitchen footprint into a tiny home office on one end where the new spacious pantry and a built-in desk now reside, and about 4 feet into the family room to accommodate two beverage refrigerators and glass front cabinetry to be used as a bar serving space, the client now has the kitchen they have been dreaming about for years. Bright and warm, this custom kitchen was once a closed off room. The kitchen is the homes gathering space so we opened up the room to the dining area for comfortable entertainment.

A solid wood walnut counter tops the island and structural posts and bar backing is clad with the same walnut in a board and batten style completing our accents of walnut contrasts to the classical white cabinetry.

The floor is really the focal point here, it kind of works the same way wallpaper would, but -- it’s on the floor. I love this graphic tile, patterned after Moroccan encaustic, or cement tile, but this one is actually porcelain at a very affordable price point and much easier to install than cement tile. Once we had homeowner buy-in on the floor choice, the rest of the space came together pretty easily – we are calling it “transitional, Moroccan, industrial.” Key elements are the traditional vanity, Moroccan shaped mirrors and flooring, and plumbing fixtures, coupled with industrial choices -- glass block window, a counter top that looks like cement but that is actually very functional Corian, sliding glass shower door, and simple glass light fixtures. The final space is bright, functional and stylish. Quite a transformation, don’t you think? What do you do when you have a small narrow kitchen with high ceilings? you build up! in this kitchen we used every inch of space. creating a u shaped kitchen with a narrow island in the center and cabinets all the way up the 10 foot ceiling. The white shaker cabinets, white quartz counter tops and white beveled subway tiles, all help create a clean and minimalist look that does not cramp the space.

His and Hers vanities with counter top cabinets. The drawers in the counter top cabinets make the access to items easy while keeping the counters clear from clutter. Placing electrical outlets inside the counter top cabinets allows charging items while they are stored away and hides any unsightly cords. Porcelain tile 12 x 24 floor tile. The tub is positioned to enjoy the mountain view while soaking. There is a steam shower off to the side with a tiled ceiling, Kohler steam unit and fixtures.

This is an addition to a small cape code home, it consists of an open floor plan kitchen, breakfast and family room. White shaker cabinets, with gold details. 14' island functions as the main hub with a beautiful quartzite counter top and blue handblown glass pendants from Niche Moderne.
