John & Jan's kitchen was one a small white kitchen that filled about a third of the screen you are looking at. This didn't work for them with the amount of children and grandchildren running around. We named their island the last supper island for the sheer length of it!

Starting with a uniquely shaped room and large window, our client was able to get all their desired features in the space. A dark island with seating for three, as well as a built in table with enough room for six.

When considering the scheme for the Corner Table Café, the Looms’ team opted to use the muted hues of Nantucket’s natural land and seascape (celadon, foggy gray, seashell white) – along with some local favorites, like Nantucket Red. The walls were decorative painted by Riptide Finishes in the colors of cream, gold and silver. With an eye on sustainability some of the old wood from the original building was painted and used in the ceiling. Hubbardton Forge light fixtures adorn the wall and hang from the ceiling. The furnishings in the café include built-in banquettes in an oak finish with celadon leather cushions with red wash oak café chairs. The celadon leather cushions are from Jerry Pair ‘In the Moo’d’, chosen for it's durability in high traffic areas. The pillow are Katie Leede fabric and the tables, coffee tables and chairs are from Design Workshop. Other inviting seating includes a Lee Industries upholstered sofa in a textured caramel high performance fabric ('Odin' fabric by Anichini). The two armchairs are Lee Industries covered in Duralee fabric in Nantucket Red and turquoise tones with flame stitching.

Clients wanted their new loft to have a modern feel that incorporated some of their existing pieces. We went with a classic color combo of black, white and red. With concrete floors and brick walls we wanted to warm up the space with a few walnut pieces throughout. With most lofts, space planning can be a challenge. We wanted enough seating without cluttering up the spatially challenged loft. We went with a very versatile sofa with removable/re-positionable backs to allow for larger gatherings in need of more seating. The dining area we equipped with a full bar cabinet, a sideboard for storage and ability to serve a buffet. Refinished antique table and chairs is the center of attention. We did two large matching chandeliers to enhance the 14 foot ceilings. Overall we kept the space open and functional.

These beautiful bistro chairs are a great addition to farmhouse outdoor dining for not only their function but also the pop of color. Plus, we love the way they look paired with the vintage linen table runner.

The Nursery is decorated with a focus on combining old and new sensibilities: white wrought iron canopy crib and table, antique toy horse, paneled walls with bevelled mirrors, little chairs an table, stenciled floors, French fabrics, and outfit for the baby's first summer outing. The nursery exemplifies the best that is about country living: the newness of things just arrived and the history of things past. That is, this space illustrates how modern inventions can fit comfortably within the idioms of the past. So, a contemporary crib, albeit traditionally styled, is surrounded by both antique toys and furniture. The carpet, table and chairs are modern and combine beautifully with the antique baby carriage and rocking horse.

The way Chris decorated this Jasper book rack creates a nice transition from the sunroom's fanciful lounge area to the industrial cafe setup. The bookcase itself blends more with the industrial furniture, but the accessories and plantlife go along with the earthy vibe of the lounge space.
