This kid-friendly family room refresh wasn’t in this client’s plan, but when their basement needed repair, they were ready for a new look. The pillows and throw on the sectional are all about curling up to watch a favorite show, and the absolutely gorgeous rug is oversized and soft to invite kid activities on the floor. With fresh paint and a neutral sofa as a backdrop, we reimagined this often-used gathering space.

Using sliding glass doors as a replacement for windows can be a great way to let in fresh air and allow for more of a view of the outdoors. This office/dining room space feels light and airy due to the large patio door.

The ultimate vision for the DeVance Experience was to create an environment unlike any retail storefront or big box shop, where a unique and exciting experience awaits existing and prospective clients, guests, trade partners and business associates. Collaborating partners are encouraged to utilize the space as a mini-custom showroom of their own; accessing a relaxing environment to lay out clients’ space plans and select samples for custom countertops, specialized cabinet designs, fabrics, paint, carpets, etc. Essentially, The DeVance Experience Center is the hottest design/build/electronic lifestyle showroom around, lending a whole new meaning to “industry partnerships!” Based on current knowledge, there is no other showroom that is comparable. The layout of the new Experience Center was designed specifically for event marketing.
