This beautiful lakefront home designed by MossCreek features a wide range of design elements that work together perfectly. From it's Arts and Craft exteriors to it's Cowboy Decor interior, this ultimate lakeside cabin is the perfect summer retreat. Designed as a place for family and friends to enjoy lake living, the home has an open living main level with a kitchen, dining room, and two story great room all sharing lake views. The Master on the Main bedroom layout adds to the livability of this home, and there's even a bunkroom for the kids and their friends. Expansive decks, and even an upstairs "Romeo and Juliet" balcony all provide opportunities for outdoor living, and the two-car garage located in front of the home echoes the styling of the home. This scullery kitchen is located near the garage entrance to the home and the utility room. It is one of two kitchens in the home. The more formal entertaining kitchen is open to the formal living area. This kitchen provides an area for the bulk of the cooking and dish washing. It can also serve as a staging area for caterers when needed. Light and color sensitivity of the homeowner was of utmost importance to the designer. Opening up the lower-level of the home to allow for light, while also softening the light that was coming into the gallery space above, combined with the preservation of the historically significant Keck and Keck architectural elements were challenges that the designer overcame beautifully.

This West University Master Bathroom remodel was quite the challenge. Our design team rework the walls in the space along with a structural engineer to create a more even flow. In the begging you had to walk through the study off master to get to the wet room. We recreated the space to have a unique modern look. The custom vanity is made from Tree Frog Veneers with countertops featuring a waterfall edge. We suspended overlapping circular mirrors with a tiled modular frame. The tile is from our beloved Porcelanosa right here in Houston. The large wall tiles completely cover the walls from floor to ceiling . The freestanding shower/bathtub combination features a curbless shower floor along with a linear drain. We cut the wood tile down into smaller strips to give it a teak mat affect. The wet room has a wall-mount toilet with washlet. The bathroom also has other favorable features, we turned the small study off the space into a wine / coffee bar with a pull out refrigerator drawer.
