Imagine a dark, small kitchen transformed into a bright, enjoyable living space!
Together, the kitchen designers at Chester County Kitchen & Bath and the client collaborated and strived to achieve a modern, bright space playfully interjecting light and warm tones throughout the kitchen.
Concept:
Transform a dark, dated kitchen with dramatic changes... The client doesn't miss their small enclosed space. They are now welcomed by an inviting space, featuring an island with seating and extra storage/work area that opens now into the family room. By making great design changes such as rearranging the placement of the refrigerator, and choosing light colored counters and cabinets the kitchen is open and bright. Additionally, the earth tone tile backsplash contrasts the buttercream cabinets- giving the space texture and depth!

A complete gut job of this rancher home. Layout changed completely to have a true kitchen greatroom with fantastic indoor/outdoor space with folding eclipse doors. A old family home brought up to date in style

These homeowners purchased this house for their retirement years. To make their retirement even more sweet, we took this confined and dated home and opened it up by raising and widening doorways, replacing carpet with hardwoods, and bringing more light through the whole space. To add detail and visual interest, 2-piece casing and paneling were added in the main hallway. The custom master bathroom includes inset cabinetry and a curved tub panel. All of these changes refreshed the property, creating a clean, contemporary, and welcoming space to fully enjoy retirement.

This once dated and incredibly cut-up home got a custom remodel from floor to ceiling that changed ceilings and windows, knocked down walls, and moved rooms into other areas for an amazing light, bright, and open contemporary retreat.

Master (Primary) bathroom renovation transformation! One of many transformation projects we have designed and executed for this lovely empty nesting couple.
For this space, we took a heavy, dated and uninspiring bathroom and turned it into one that is inspiring, soothing and highly functional. The general footprint of the bathroom did not change allowing the budget to stay contained and under control. The client is over the moon happy with their new bathroom.

A perfect mix of blue hues and clean white tile make this bathroom a retreat! The addition of the crane wallpaper tied the space together and made this room unique.

Eventually everyone gets tired of the traditional oak cabinets and wood. It's an aesthetic consideration. However, living in cramped kitchen quarters with inadequate storage is not an aesthetic, it's about functionality—it's something you endure until it's time to breakthrough into the freedom of the open concept. That's what this remodel is all about.
This retired Maple Grove couple wanted, no needed a change in how their kitchen looked and functioned. Walled in on two sides, their kitchen screamed dated honey oak and limited storage. Most couples would opt for a white or grey color theme, but these homeowners wanted a more traditional, darker scheme.

What a change! This was a total transformation. The once dated and drab space is now a spa-like paradise. Stylish and convenient control buttons for the TOTO in-wall toilet tank system.

A modern mountain renovation of an inherited mountain home in North Carolina. We brought the 1990's home in the the 21st century with a redesign of living spaces, changing out dated windows for stacking doors, with an industrial vibe. The new design breaths and compliments the beautiful vistas outside, enhancing, not blocking.

This is the kitchen before. Cabinets are a bit dated, dark. We decided to change the wall color, leave the counter tops for now and the floor.
The after, we decided to use two different colors a warm white with multiple layers of a mushroom glaze on the U-portion of the kitchen. For the island we chose an accent color that was sanded back, distressed and glazed.
Once complete all the cabinetry was painted in a dull chemical resistant, UV protectant finish.
