The hot tub installation design closed in the spa only on 3 sides, leaving one side open for repair work. It’s also where the hot tub cover fits onto the spa.
“We recently did a service call for them,” says Bill Renter. “The unenclosed area made it easy to open the control panel and check on the problem they were having. It turned out, in this case, not to be an issue with the hot tub at all. But I was able to diagnose the problem. They had an electricity issue and I recommended a particular switch the electrician could put in. I’m glad I was able to solve the issue for their electrician.”
Upshot?
The homeowner adds he’s happy with the “really cool features" of Bullfrog Spas. “That’s what helped us make our decision. The JetPaks have turned out to be great. In fact, we were in it just last night.”

This is a Corinth double pool project designed by Mike Farley . The client wanted a rustic tailored finish to blend with the existing flagstone porch and accent the great lake view. This project has a double pool vanishing edge with the top pool providing shallow area for basketball, volleyball and hanging out. The spa overlooks both pools and Lake Lewisville while being close to the master door. Fire bowls frame the spectacular evening view. The lower pool provides diving and the hidden slide exit (not seen from the upper porch). The diving well acts as a key way for the hillside. Flagstone decks and cut stone veneer provide the rustic tailored finish. Landscape softens the setting and the grasses will hide the fence in no time. 14. Do a thorough check to ensure all the chemicals and filters are removed from the hot tub. Bullfrog Spas only: for extra protection, remove and bring your JetPaks inside to store in a warm place;
15. Put your hot tub cover back on and use any locking system you might have; because of potentially harsh winters in the northeast, add a tarp over the whole hot tub, covering it entirely, and add rope around the hot tub to hold the tarp in place.
“When you return in the spring, to de-winterize the hot tub, you can reverse thee steps.
Note: A proper winterization can protect your hot tub for a safe winter season shut down.
If you are in a hurry, or if DIY projects are not in your wheelhouse, the crews at Best Hot Tubs’ three showrooms will gladly help you by scheduling a “Spa Winterization” by one of our Techs.

The clients had just bought the home and loved the inside but not the outside. They did not want the formal setting with Greek busts. Since remodeling the old pool would have restricted the new, they had it removed so they could start from scratch. Their favorite setting was much more organic with a cabana, fireplace, and an outdoor kitchen. The house needed an addition with an entertainment media room, cigar room and pool bath. Privacy was achieved by adding a cabana on the north side with a full stone wall. The spa needed to be close to the master bedroom and have visibility of the flat screen television in the cabana. The spa is flush with the upper patio so not to block the view of the pool. A natural boulder stream connects the pool and spa. To soften the house planting is between the cabana and house. Decks and coping are Travertine. Pebblesheen color is Ocean Blue. Access to the cabana was located between the spa and the pool on the floating pad. Remote controlled fire features accent both ends of the boulders. Retaining walls were built behind the waterfall to bring the grade up so plantings looked more natural and waterfalls appeared to come out of the hillside. The cabana features were to create three zones. It does not matter the season or time of day, this space provides the family's perfect outside setting to enjoy each other. Mid-sized transitional master ceramic tile, multicolored floor and double-sink double shower photo with flat-panel cabinets, medium tone wood cabinets, white walls, an undermount sink, quartz countertops, a hinged shower door, white countertops and a floating vanity

This elegant bathroom belongs to the client's preteen daughter. Complete with a sit down make up vanity, this bathroom features it all. Ample cabinet storage and expansive mirrors make this bathroom feel larger since this basement bathroom does not have an exterior window. The color scheme was pulled from the beautiful marble mosaic shower tile and the porcelain floor tile is heated for chilly winter mornings.
