Franke is introducing to North American clientele its new Pescara Collection, a contemporary family of sinks and faucets with clean lines and a large, open workspace
inspired by Italian tradition and its artisan culture. Now available in showrooms nationwide from a global leader in the manufacture of luxury sinks and faucets, Pescara sinks are made from the highest quality Franke stainless steel; exceptionally resistant to staining, rust and corrosion; remarkably durable; and an embodiment of contemporary elegance. Pescara faucets redefine functionality from the inside out, particularly the Semi-Professional model which features an innovative rear-docking spray head.
Franke’s award-winning Pescara faucets have architecturally precise lines and are sold in a variety of
styles. Pescara’s Semi-Professional faucets – available in three sizes – feature 360-degree spout swivel ranges and intuitive switches that allow users to easily toggle between full and needle spray. One Pescara Semi-Professional faucet model (available in either satin nickel or polished chrome) features an innovative, dual-function hose: water flows effortlessly from the spout when it's in its magnetic docking station; simply remove the hose from its dock, touch a toggle switch, and it transforms into a spray hose that has extended reach to every corner of the sink. Once finished, simply set the hose back into the dock, and the faucet spray reverts to its original full flow path. This unique feature doubles the spray reach and minimizes the hose length. Additional Pescara faucet styles include: the Prep Faucet with a 360-degree spout swivel range; the Deck Mount Pot Filler with both hot and cold water inputs; and the Wall Mount Pot Filler.

Chris and Marna believe in Ohana Mau Loa which means “family forever.” As return clients, they knew LiLu could help them build a vacation home in Hawaii that would provide a desirable and comfortable gathering place for four adult children and their spouses and 11 grandchildren. A central common space at the heart of the home with separate living quarters surrounding it helps to accommodate everyone with both shared and personal living spaces. Each has its own personality that showcases playful references to Big Island life. And yet the overall design concept weaves together a love of world travel with traditional tastes. Built with mahogany wood that is a staple of island construction, treasured heirlooms and other personal keepsakes are the perfect complement to make this dream home feel welcoming and familiar. Fabrics, finishes and furnishings were selected with the sea in mind and to accommodate wet swim suits, bare feet, and sandy shoes.

A new home can be beautiful, yet lack soul. For a family with exquisite taste, and a love of the artisan and bespoke, LiLu created a layered palette of furnishings that express each family member’s personality and values. One child, who loves Jackson Pollock, received a window seat from which to enjoy the ceiling’s lively splatter wallpaper. The other child, a young gentleman, has a navy tweed upholstered headboard and plaid club chair with leather ottoman. Elsewhere, sustainably sourced items have provenance and meaning, including a LiLu-designed powder-room vanity with marble top, a Dunes and Duchess table, Italian drapery with beautiful trimmings, Galbraith & Panel wallcoverings, and a bubble table. After working with LiLu, the family’s house has become their home.

Jed Hirsch, General Building Contractor, Inc., specializes in building, remodeling, accenting and perfecting fine homes for an array of clientele that demand only the finest in craftsmanship, materials and service. We specialize in the Santa Barbara community and are proud that our stellar reputation drives our business growth.

Christy and Matt have traveled the world, picking up a love of Monet’s garden in France and many unique artifacts along the way. They had accumulated an extensive art collection of their own which expanded to include an eclectic array of folk art inherited from Christy’s mom. With an eye on downsizing, the couple realized their living environment had become cluttered. They wanted a more serene feeling in their home…like a modern version of Monet’s Garden. LiLu’s inspiration began with a new color palette, using green as a neutral and adding a mixture of vibrant colors reminiscent of a garden. Sheer drapes in the living room diffuse the natural light, almost as if the sun is being filtered through a canopy of trees. The design team also brought focus to their art collection by designing custom built-ins to display their artwork. The dark wood finish relates to the color of the custom dining table creating a cohesive composition. The clean-lined furniture features soft curves to suggest a more botanical feel. The result has brought dazzling serenity to this condo hidden among the busy streets of downtown Minneapolis.

This was a new construction project where we partnered with a local builder to stage the home when it was ready for the market. On this particular home, we staged the main floor to make it more appealing to the target clientele of younger families with a contemporary and clean style. The effect of our staging is to generate more qualified buyers as well as increased offers in a shorter timeframe.

The Marketing office - Reception , Waiting lounge and M.D. cabin had to be squeezed into an extremely tight volume for our resort in Auroville Pondicherry - The Sprouts.
We decided to take advantage of the wooden louvred doors typical to the Architecture of Franco Tamil Architecture of Pondicherry and designed a collapsible full height doors that can close in 2 ways - 1 separating the M.D cabin from the waiting space and - 2 Extending the M.D. cabin with double the seating and room size by closing in the waiting space from the Reception space.
The design palette had to again adhere to the concept described already ( read the earlier post ) .
The reception desk is a Gunny bag fabric woven metal frame with a simple white duco painted panel with the signage backlit. The Gunny bag is one material that can handle extreme weathering and a natural fabric , it displays both the strength and flexibility - both properties that the brand prefers to showcase as their core values as a brand towards their clientele.
The background to M.Ds desk and the desk itself are both adorned by Live edge wooden slabs that speak of the grit that comes with age / legacy .
A floating rattan chandelier shaped like a canoe (due to the proximity to beach), all furniture that are inherently wood and rattan, keep the warm grounded theme in place.

At our design firm, we frequently cater to Notre Dame football enthusiasts and homeowners along the picturesque shores of Lake Michigan. Our clients often require homes capable of accommodating large gatherings, as they prepare to host their families for football games and reunions. In this world, sleep count becomes a significant consideration. As a result, requests for bunk beds, murphy beds, and sleeper sofas are common needs for our clientele.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
However, while bunk beds serve a functional purpose, they sometimes lack aesthetic appeal. However, our team of designers is here to solve this concern. We understand the importance of ensuring functional items not only serve their purpose but also enhance the overall beauty of our clients' homes. In the case of bunk beds, such as in this bedroom from our Harters Heights Home, we expertly blended transitional style with practical design to fashion a tranquil bunk room that exudes style while sleeping at least three people
