This luxury kitchen remodel in Raleigh, NC reimagined a grand traditional kitchen with a fresh, layered elegance. Our team at Lavish designed the space around two oversized islands in a rich espresso finish, both topped in dramatic taupe quartzite with thick mitered edges — one dedicated to prep, the other to gathering. Warm cherry-toned cabinetry with glass-front uppers and a stately paneled range hood anchor the perimeter, while a full-height quartzite slab backsplash, brushed brass faucets and pot filler, gold lantern pendants, rope-wrapped counter stools, and tumbled travertine flooring bring in texture and shine. The kitchen flows into a stone-fireplace keeping room, making it a true hub for entertaining. Just off the kitchen, the formal dining room design is one of the most memorable rooms in the home. A stained wood plank ceiling crowns hand-painted cloud-effect walls, and a sculptural branch-and-crystal chandelier hangs above the walnut dining table, framed by floral drapery, an arched navy display cabinet, and views of the pool and gardens beyond. As a full-service interior design firm in Raleigh, NC, Lavish guided this kitchen remodeling and dining room project from cabinetry, stone selection, and lighting design through drapery, furnishings, and final styling — creating a luxury home interior that feels both grand and genuinely livable.

This organic modern whole-home renovation is anchored by rich walnut throughout — slatted wood walls define spaces, a custom wood-paneled ceiling floats over the living area, and seamless cabinetry wraps the kitchen — all unified by a dramatic black-veined marble island and sculptural rattan cloud pendants. A serene palette of sage, warm cream, and cognac flows from room to room, with standout moments including a hidden door camouflaged in the living room's custom wall mural, a bold powder room with embroidered black-and-white wallpaper and brass fixtures, and a primary bedroom featuring a luminous gold-leaf mural. Every detail reflects a confident, nature-forward aesthetic that feels both luxurious and effortlessly livable.

Tara Benet Design created this 6,000 SF home in downtown Greenwich, CT in close collaboration with Greenwich Building Company. We curated every finish, from custom cabinetry, lighting, stonework all the way to the furnishings.

This master bathroom renovation transforms a builder-grade standard into a personalized retreat for our lovely Stapleton clients. Recognizing a need for change, our clients called on us to help develop a space that would capture their aesthetic loves and foster relaxation. Our design focused on establishing an airy and grounded feel by pairing various shades of white, natural wood, and dynamic textures. We replaced the existing ceramic floor tile with wood-look porcelain tile for a warm and inviting look throughout the space. We then paired this with a reclaimed apothecary vanity from Restoration Hardware. This vanity is coupled with a bright Caesarstone countertop and warm bronze faucets from Delta to create a strikingly handsome balance. The vanity mirrors are custom-sized and trimmed with a coordinating bronze frame. Elegant wall sconces dance between the dark vanity mirrors and bright white full height mirrors flanking the bathtub. The tub itself is an oversized freestanding bathtub paired with a tall bronze tub filler. We've created a feature wall with Tile Bar's Billowy Clouds ceramic tile floor to ceiling behind the tub. The wave-like movement of the tiles offers a dramatic texture in a pure white field. We removed the existing shower and extended its depth to create a large new shower. The walls are tiled with a large format high gloss white tile. The shower floor is tiled with marble circles in varying sizes that offer a playful aesthetic in an otherwise minimalist space. We love this pure, airy retreat and are thrilled that our clients get to enjoy it for many years to come!
