The fawn, made from Granite with crushed Marble spots, ear, and Black Travertine eye and nose, naps nearby. The Black bear’s hungry cub climbs boulders to see what the hold-up is. Mountains of Colorado Granite stone with crushed white Agate and white Marble snow tower over the Blue Sodalite lake. Green Granite pine trees sit off to the sides. The stream the bear is standing in and the pond the elk are drinking from/standing in are both different Granites resurrected from a stone fabricator’s dumpster. Little Quartz chips makeup the stream splash/froth. The mosaic background is Travertine/stone pebble mixture.

Dining room - contemporary dining room idea in Kent

I used acrylics in a watercolor application with accents of gold leaf foil. What you cannot see here is the living room designed in fuchsia with gold, brilliant red velvets and deep purple. This painting in the open concept dining room brought those colors in to bring a beautiful balance between the two rooms.

This Gio Ponti inspired headboard was designed and built A-Z for a lovely client. She wanted teak but the options were limited so we found black limba and that turned out to be an even better and more cost effective choice. Built in nightstands with undermount drawers. All veneers were carefully selected, hand cut and arranged in a deliberate manner. A wenge Japanese butterfly joint bridges the transition between vertical to horizontal grain.
