Master baths are the holy grail of bathrooms. Connected to the master bedroom or master suite, master baths are where you go all-out in designing your bathroom. It’s for you, the master of the home, after all. Common master bathroom features include double vanities, stand-alone bathtubs and showers, and occasionally even toilet areas separated by a door. These options are great if you need the additional space for two people getting ready in the morning. Speaking of space, master baths are typically large and spacious, adding to the luxurious feel.

It is a common story. A couple has lived with their builder-grade bathroom for as long as they can and are ready for something upgraded and more functional. They wanted to create a bathroom that would be safe for them as they age in place and a new fresh design.

The attractive Traditional/Farmhouse exterior is appealing and sure to please. Inside, the living room is the focal point of the design and features a 14' ceiling with a wall of windows, allowing ample natural light into the common area. The secondary bedrooms feature a J&J bath for two of them, and a separate bath for the other, adding a level of privacy. The Master closet is connected to the laundry room, creating a convenient and private layout.

The National Farmhouse in The Legends at Bluegrass Commons utilizes one of our favorite floor plans with farmhouse accents, such as board and batten, barn lights and two-over-two light windows. This is a whole house renovation and addition in North Seattle. The lovely clients are accustomed to the warm and vibrant colors of their native country. They asked Story to design an addition and whole-house renovation that would be in keeping with the needs of their busy family. We opened up the home on the first floor, giving a loft feel. Black windows and white, high-ceilinged spaces set a backdrop for splashes of color throughout. Warm wood flooring borders mosaic cement tile, and a large pantry has sliding barn doors that also hide an entrance to the family room. Upstairs, we redesigned the Owner’s Suite bathroom to include a high window for light, and a floating vanity with bold tile accents. These clients also asked us to add a guest suite on the first floor for visiting relatives - something that’s becoming quite common in renovations. These clients were very involved in the interiors for the project, and much of the artwork in the home was made by the client and her mother, who uses the guest suite when she visits for long intervals.

This master bathroom remodel in Haymarket, VA is a dream come true for these homeowners. The bathroom before was common builder grade white cabinets with outdated tub and brass fixtures. This new bathroom with Alder wood cabinets, granite countertops and LED lighted mirrors has a spa-like feel.

A run down traditional 1960's home in the heart of the san Fernando valley area is a common site for home buyers in the area. so, what can you do with it you ask? A LOT! is our answer. Most first-time home buyers are on a budget when they need to remodel and we know how to maximize it. The entire exterior of the house was redone with #stucco over layer, some nice bright color for the front door to pop out and a modern garage door is a good add. the back yard gained a huge 400sq. outdoor living space with Composite Decking from Cali Bamboo and a fantastic insulated patio made from aluminum. The pool was redone with dark color pebble-tech for better temperature capture and the 0 maintenance of the material.
Inside we used water resistance wide planks European oak look-a-like laminated flooring. the floor is continues throughout the entire home (except the bathrooms of course ? ).
A gray/white and a touch of earth tones for the wall colors to bring some brightness to the house.
The center focal point of the house is the transitional farmhouse kitchen with real reclaimed wood floating shelves and custom-made island vegetables/fruits baskets on a full extension hardware.

This exterior repair project began after our client had their home re‑roofed a little over a year earlier. Like many homeowners, they didn’t realize the roofing crew had damaged several areas of siding and removed key trim pieces during the installation. It’s a common issue: most roofing companies have a single day to complete their work, and if siding or trim is in the way, it often gets cracked, loosened, or pulled off entirely.
At Deskins Siding & Exteriors, we specialize in identifying and repairing the exterior damage that often goes unnoticed after a roof replacement. During our inspection, we found multiple areas that needed attention, including:
• Damaged or missing Hardie siding
• Removed or broken trim
• Holes left behind during the roofing process
• Rotten soffit and deteriorated wood that required replacement
We restored each affected area using proper materials, matched profiles, and seamless Sherwin‑Williams paint blending to ensure the repairs disappeared into the home’s original exterior. The result is a clean, structurally sound finish that protects the home and enhances curb appeal.
