Our homeowners wanted a garden with a natural feel. We added concrete steppers with dymondia groundcover for a new pathway to the backyard. Low water plantings with a natural feel bring hummingbirds. Drip irrigation and permeable paving. The nasturtiums are from seeds planted by the owner, the leaves are edible. Vegetable beds and fruit trees in the backyard provide a bountiful harvest.

SIZED TO MATCH THE CLIPPED GABLE, a new portico shelters the front door and weather-beaten mailbox of this Craftsman cottage. VERTICAL SIDING in its gable adds texture repeated in new board and batten shutters, a simple enhancement Plain SQUARE POSTS are dressed up with tall "cuffs" on the bottom. BLUESTONE PAVING on the stucco stoop helps make the portico look original to the 1920's house.

This charming century home is steeped in Oshawa's history, but it needed a facelift that would bring it up to speed for todays living. We removed the tired cabinets and corrected the sagging legacy beam, in order pave the way for a new and fresh look in the kitchen, which was more in keeping with the homeowners lifestyle. New porcilain floors were laid and new shaker style cabinetry was installed, finished with custom Benjamin Moore "Oxford white" paint. Cambria "Brittanica" quartz countertops were used complete with a matching waterfall quartz end to make the look much more contemporary. Mosaic tile was used for the backsplash and open shelving in walnut added to tie in some of the history of the home with the great new look of the kitchen. The end result is simply stunning!

This multi-purpose room serves as a home gym and office space. This was an addition done by a previous homeowner to the existing home. The floors are covered in a rubber flooring similar to what you see in commercial gyms. The client purchased smart gym equipment that could easily be moved to allow for additional floor space.

The antique chandelier had come with this typical Montreal townhouse and it was on top of the dining table, we relocated it to the sitting area at the end of the kitchen since the client wanted to keep it and we fell in love with its form and patina. The fine pattern on the wall tiles echo the silhouette of the fixture and the colouration paves the way for its bold presence. This combination of elements along with the narrow layout of the house created one of the most coziest corners we have ever facilitated.

Gorgeous dream home in Whistler - a very demanding climate for a driveway! These basalt pavers will stand the test of time from the strength of our Resin Jointing Mortar in a custom 'basalt-matching' colour. Water permeable means this driveway is resistant to the freeze/heave breakages that otherwise affect conventional methods.

The larger stone pavers act as connecting walk transitioning from the drive/parking to the homes entrance. These pavers also function to help prevent street runoff off of this property.

Our client wanted a maintenance free yard with no grass and minimal plantings. We designed and constructed a simple but very effective yard that suited their young family well. With a synthetic grass area for their children to play (and a future play structure) as well as a large paver patio for a dining table and chimenea for gatherings, this yard is all about enjoying the moments, not doing yard work!! We dressed it up with a few trees that will grow to provide some privacy as well as a nice cedar fence and privacy screens. Concrete edging rounds out the project that will ensure many years of enjoyment with no hassles!!
