Beautiful, natural pebble tiles accented by a border of 12”x12” tan colored marble tiles set the overall feel of this new space. The vanity, a medium stained cherry wood contemporary styled wall-hung cabinet, and the ice stone countertop compliment the gorgeous blue-green hues of the mosaic wall tile. The chrome finished wall-hung faucet has the perfect design choice for the narrow yet sleek vanity. The tub/shower side walls boast stylish 6”x12” marble tiles installed in a horizontal pattern while the blue/green mosaic tiles on the back wall create a dramatic focal point in the otherwise neutral color palate. We juxtaposed bold colors and contemporary furnishings with the early twentieth-century interior architecture for this four-level Pacific Heights Edwardian. The home's showpiece is the living room, where the walls received a rich coat of blackened teal blue paint with a high gloss finish, while the high ceiling is painted off-white with violet undertones. Against this dramatic backdrop, we placed a streamlined sofa upholstered in an opulent navy velour and companioned it with a pair of modern lounge chairs covered in raspberry mohair. An artisanal wool and silk rug in indigo, wine, and smoke ties the space together.

The perfect companion to your sofa or reading chair, the Crane lamp is a modern take on the classic reading lamp. Created in the U.S. exclusively for Room & Board with a hand-welded base and fabric cord, Crane also features a distinctive pull switch.

This custom made faux shiplap headboard makes an amazing focal point for a smallish bedroom. What could be a bland and uninspired becomes a relaxing retreat with a modern farmhouse feel. The headboard was whitewashed and slightly distressed to create character in the piece. The navy blue bedding pops against the large white headboard with a mustard yellow textured throw to create visual interest and the picture perfect, but lived in feeling staging strives for. The oversized shiplap headboard makes the room appear larger and makes it feel like a true master suite. The mismatched nightstands create a yin and yang effect so the room appeals to the feminine and masculine design aesthetic. A typography pillow completes the look and a pop of turquoise comes courtesy of a framed print because no room Is complete without a nod to whimsy and the animal companions that complete our lives and make a house a home. The client had recently purchased a new painting and wanted a new companion piece of furniture below to help ground it. With the help of Tessa Eaton at Studio Ø Interiors, we designed this asian-inspired buffet cabinet in ebonized sapele to pull in the darks from the art work.
