This guest bathroom was transformed into a whole new configuration. Included was a new soaking tub & shower enclosure. The wall to wall, horizontal, white tile was installed to look like shiplap. This included the painstaking task of two different grout colors to help hide the transitions, and make it look more like true, wood, shiplap.

Bedroom - contemporary loft-style medium tone wood floor bedroom idea in New York with white walls

This simple, classic reach in closet includes space for long and medium hang clothes, accessories, shoes and more. On average, a custom designed storage system from California Closets will double or triple the storage capacity thru thoughtful design, like the double-hang shown on the right.

This "den" was quite generous in size and allowed for both a convertable daybed and home office space. We love the unique accents that give this fairly simple space some warmth and personality. The simple floorlamps are ideal when there is limited space. The modern take on the futon allows for casual seating or sleeping when the need arises. Photo:Anthony Cohen EightbyTen Photography

Inspiration for a coastal guest medium tone wood floor bedroom remodel in Miami with white walls

In this formerly unfinished room above a garage, we were tasked with creating the ultimate kids’ space that could easily be used for adult guests as well. Our space was limited, but our client’s imagination wasn’t! Bold, fun, summertime colors, layers of pattern, and a strong emphasis on architectural details make for great vignettes at every turn. With many collaborations and revisions, we created a space that sleeps 8, offers a game/project table, a cozy reading space, and a full bathroom. The game table and banquette, bathroom vanity, locker wall, and unique bunks were custom designed by Bayberry Cottage and all allow for tons of clever storage spaces. This is a space created for loved ones and a lifetime of memories of a fabulous lakefront vacation home!
