Inspiration for a victorian exterior home remodel in Denver

This 4,000-square-foot Georgian Revival in Denver's historic Congress Park neighborhood was thoughtfully reimagined for modern family living. Through a careful interior redesign and addition, Arcadia preserved the home's original character and classic elegance while introducing refined finishes, modern amenities, and greater functionality—creating a timeless home designed for the way its owners live today.

Design rendering, construction forthcoming. A complete rebuild in the Congress Springs neighborhood of Saratoga, designed around exposed wood trusses and a warm transitional aesthetic. The exterior combines wood, stone, and stucco for a layered natural material palette that sits comfortably in the Saratoga hillside context. Designed by Prestin Ravid Architects, serving the South Bay and Peninsula.

This is a circa 1904 Denver Square in Congress Park. We remodeled the kitchen, powder room and the entire basement. In the photos, look for the vintage dining room sideboard that we were able to save and move into the kitchen. We added french doors to an exterior patio in the dining room where it used to sit.

In this historic congress park home, the original cauffered ceiling, built ins and chandelier were the key elements that we built the room around. The vibrant red walls showcase the antiques throughout.

This project won in the 2013 Builders Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh Housing Excellence Award for Best Urban Renewal Renovation Project. The glass bowl was made in the glass studio owned by the owner which is adjacent to the residence. The mirror is a repurposed window. The door is repurposed from a boarding house. George Mendel
