This nautical styled bathroom features Sherwin-Williams “Cyberspace” SW 7076 on Dura Supreme’s Craftsman Beaded Panel cabinet door style. This dark navy blue is subtle, neutral, and dramatic all at the same time. This color was selected for Dura Supreme’s 2017-2018 Curated Color Collection. Dura Supreme’s Curated Color Collection is a collection of cabinet paint colors that are always fresh, current and reflective of popular color trends for home interiors and cabinetry. This offering of colors is continuously updated as color trends shift.
Painted cabinetry is more popular than ever before and the color you select for your home should be a reflection of your personal taste and style. Our Personal Paint Match Program offers the entire Sherwin-William’s paint palette and Benjamin Moore’s paint palette, over 5,000 colors, for your new kitchen or bath cabinetry.
Color is a highly personal preference for most people and although there are specific colors that are considered “on trend” or fashionable, color choices should ultimately be based on what appeals to you personally. Homeowners often ask about color trends and how to incorporate them into newly designed or renovated interiors. And although trends and fashion should be taken into consideration, that should not be the only deciding factor. If you love a specific shade of green, select complementing neutrals and coordinating colors to create an entire palette that will remain an everlasting classic. It could be something as simple as being able to select the perfect shade of white that complements the countertop and tile and works well in a specific lighting situation. Our new Personal Paint Match system makes that process so much easier.

A vast, previously unlivable yard was transformed by more than just landscape design, but by a relationship. What resulted were lush, deeply personal spaces genuinely reflecting the family who dwells in them.
In many ways, this project is ongoing, as the client has worked with Father Nature for several years and continues to do so. During the process, a strong bond has grown between the homeowner and designer, making each additional project even more rewarding for the designer and life-enhancing for the family. From meandering paths, to a landscaped understory, to new patios featuring vintage found objects from around the world, the client-designer collaboration yields spectacular and sometimes surprising results. Such as the the custom-designed table in the dining area; the fountain, which was made in France by Italian craftsmen; and the edible terrace garden featuring herbs, berries, apples, and more. Design ideas for a mid-sized rustic full sun front yard stone pond in Minneapolis for summer.

Ravenna natural thin stone veneer from the Quarry Mill adds depth and color to the exterior of this beautiful home. Ravenna is a colorful and bold natural thin limestone veneer. The pieces have been sawed to specified heights creating dimensional cut veneer. The process to create dimensional cut stone is very neat. The natural stone is peeled up in sheets that range in size but are on average 8’x8’ and four inches thick. The large sheets are moved to the sawing table where a computer guided saw goes back and forth over individual sheets with a diamond blade to cut them into strips. The blade makes a complete cut through the slab and then moves over exactly 2.25” to make another cut. The blade continues to cut at intervals of 5” and 7.75” before repeating. This sawing process is how Ravenna gets its set heights. The strips are fed into the tumbler before being sawn into thin veneer.

Luxury Vinyl Tile Style
One of the reasons LVT is so popular is the fact that it mimics the timeless look of natural wood, stone, and leather, but has been engineered to be more suitable to everyday living (and without the high price tag). This concept of Biomimicry is the art of recreating nature’s best ideas, and it’s been an important consideration in vinyl flooring designs. Treasured raw materials such as precious woods, stones, and even animal furs are re-imagined using alternative processes which ensure continued availability of our natural heritage for future generations. Through 3D printing technology the grain, tone and thickness of natural materials can be visually recreated so that the floor looks natural, but lasts longer and is versatile enough to be used in a variety of locations throughout the home.

'Noblesse Series'
In this continuing series of paintings, Michelle investigates undulation and shifting thresholds in environments and memories. Her technique includes accumulating layers of acrylic emulsion and brush dragging across a chosen substrate. This process allows for slick, waxy surfaces on which to apply the paint with brush, palette knife and rag.

Some staircases are installed. This one was built, hand-welded, painted on site, and engineered from the ground up for the space.
This fully custom U-shaped staircase features white oak treads, white painted risers, and freestanding stringers. The forged iron railing was hand-welded and finished entirely on location, with a continuous handrail running throughout and solid balusters to match. Every component was fabricated in place, a process that reflects what fully custom actually means. A cascading pendant chandelier, a beautiful painting, and wainscoting detail on the walls round out a space where the staircase is clearly the architectural centerpiece.
