This bedroom needed lots of help all around. There was damage to the walls, it needed a new paint job and the window treatments were basic room darkening shades. Finally the homeowner had no furnishings for this room except for a king size mattress. Gave the walls a fresh coat of paint and wall papered two of the walls to draw you into the room. Selected a bedroom set with a grey weathered finished and antique brass accents - the grey to coordinate with the existing window shades and ceiling fan and the antique brass to compliment the pops of gold in the wallpaper. Added sheer window panels to frame the windows, antique brass side table lamps and masculine bedding to contrast the feminine whimsical wallpaper.

It will enhance every modern kitchen with it's clear lines and puristic form language. It provides easy access to the required cooking utensils and eases the straight lined kitchen architecture at the same time. A horizontal square railing of stainless steel colored aluminium screwed directly onto the niche back wall, provides the basic support element. Several function elements in lacquered solid oak are suspended here in various positions. The choice of instruments: shelves, paper roll holders, hook rail, utensil holder and a knife block. Separate function items can also be used as a shelf for smaller items. This kitchen was your typical builder basic design. Lot's of cabinets with no thought for function. An odd shaped island that took up space, but didn't provide much storage. We straightened out the island to create more storage and loads of function. It now has the sink, dishwasher, trash center, bookcase, mixer cabinet and microwave drawer plus more! We removed the wall double ovens and added a 48" range instead. This allowed us to flank either side of the fridge with roll out pantry cabinets. An appliance garage was added to the corner. The range has a custom hood over it that blends seamlessly with the cabinets. The client needed a space to sit and check the mail so we created an office space at the end of the wall. Behind the blinds is a new 10' slider for access to the patio. Luxury vinyl plank flooring went in throughout the house. Custom pendant lights were hung in clusters of three above the island. The kitchen was painted Accessible Beige by SW.

This simple, timeless, refreshing master bath renovation was designed by Kimberly Kerl with Kustom Home Design. One of the most striking differences in this newly designed space is the openness and brilliance of the bay window tub area. This space was once crowded and overbearing with a large garden tub installed in an oversized cultured marble surround. The old tub protruded into the space and limited the flow and balance of the room. By removing the garden tub and replacing it with a deep freestanding soaking tub, we were able to enlarge the visual feel of the space tremendously. The transitional style incorporates traditional elements with modern and contemporary designs in a pleasing, harmonious balance. The small walled in shower stall was replaced with and enlarged corner style custom tile shower with low walls and frameless half glass panels. The custom shower has marble corner shelves, white elongated subway tile, multiple shower heads, miniature marble hex tile flooring with a contrasting tile border and polished chrome hardware. The vanity was updated with a 36" high raised counter, full overlay white doors and drawers, polished chrome pulls and knobs, and under-mount sinks set in a marble top with shaped edge. The basic layout of the space and placement of major plumbing fixtures remained the same, but the size and orientation of the fixtures was modified in a way which vastly improves the look, feel and flow of the master bathroom space. Inspiration for a tropical entryway remodel in Singapore

This South Shore of Boston client approached the team of Renovisions to remodel her existing basement bathroom. This bath, with an outdated fiberglass shower stall was cracked and leaking into the concrete floor below. The room had inadequate storage, was dark and did not boost this home’s overall market value. It was definitely time for a Renovision and the client was excited to get started! She was looking forward to sharing the new space with guests that stay at her home and use the bathroom often. Working alongside this client was fun and productive as great design and product choices were selected together. In the design process, Renovisions presented a unique idea; using the basement foundation ledge for a shelf that ran into the shower area, gaining extra space for shampoos and soaps, eliminating the need for a niche. Another great idea was to implement a Grohe Smart Control valve which brings this shower experience to another level; they can choose ways to spray with the right degree of warmth. The stunning stream-lined shower trims in brushed nickel finish match the style and finish on the single-lever vanity faucet. The contrasting dark grey, large format porcelain floor tile’s texture resembles a linen-look pattern the client requested while complimenting the darker veining in the quartz curb, shelf and vanity countertop. The Carrera-look porcelain shower wall tiles boast no-maintenance and provides a clean, brighter appeal seen through the beautiful custom shower glass enclosure. We lightened up the bath with a light blue paint color which added a fresh look, giving the illusion of a bigger space. As you can see, with the right colors, textures and accessories, we transformed this basement bath from Drab to Fab. The client was thrilled with her basement Renovision, a true Breath of Fresh Flair’!

The floor plan was also altered in a few key areas to improve livability and create more of an open-concept feel. And a new coffered ceiling in the front entry contrasts beautifully with the custom wood shelving above the double-sided fireplace. Highlights in the lower level include a unique under-stairs custom wine & whiskey bar and a new home gym with a glass wall view into the main recreation area.

This beautiful kitchen has a lot to boast about! The teak countertop, the big farmhouse sink, and the contrasting island color combine to make a beautiful workspace. The cabinets are from Medallion's platinum line which basically means the doors are inset. The door style i s Bayshore. The main kitchen is the Divinity finish, the island is done in the Marine finish. Inset doors are not on Mike's go-to list as any change in humidity may result in subtle swelling or shrinking of the doors resulting in a place where the door rubs off the finish as it opens or where the gap between the door and frame increases. If you're good with that wearing, then it is indeed a beautiful look!

We replaced the closed in Highbar with an open and expansive island showcasing a lowered eating area, perfect for breakfast and entertaining while meals are prepared. Our mitered door custom cabinets are presented with a sophisticated and up and coming color palette for those that are leaning away from basic white cabinets. To bring more warmth into the space, we stained the rift sawn oak in medium brown and finished with a soft glaze. We then contrast this with matte black interiors in the glass cabinets. The matte black is repeated on the venthood which has been accented with high gloss striping. The large pull-outs flanking the fridge provide plenty of storage, while the integrated backsplash shelf provides architectural interest with additional space for bottles and spices near the induction cooktop. The brushed gold hardware provides the perfect jewelry for the kitchen – now warm, inviting, and irresistible!

Eric and Jeni's master bathroom had always been functional, but it never quite lived up to the luxurious escape they desired. The cabinets were lackluster, offering basic storage, but they didn't contribute much to the room's aesthetics. For cabinets, they selected Sollid Designer Series Cabinetry in Metro Cognac for both functionality and visual warmth. To top these cabinets, White Sand Quartz countertops were chosen, blending durability and elegance. Delta Trinsic faucets in Champagne Bronze were selected to pair beautifully with two arched metal mirrors with contrasting black frames, adding refined modernity. A Kohler sliding semi-frameless shower door with frosted glass and the Delta shower head in Champagne Bronze add the elegance desired by the homeowners. Eric and Jeni made the great selections of Reside Beige tiles on the shower floor, and Terrazzo White tiles for the walls. An over-sized wall niche for the shower and a long bench with a quartz countertop seat were installed to complete the custom elegance of their new space.

The client manufactured car parts for GM in Michigan and this was their winter home. They had a wonderful art collection, including a Calder mobile which hung in the Living Room. This prompted an all white geometrically sculpted interior contrasted with brown brick floors. The exterior form is a direct reflection of the interior spaces. Five years later the owner's enjoyment of their home and their wonderful golf course view was shattered when a large condominium project started construction across the golf course. We suggested a few ideas such as a built-in hutch and contrasting island. The cabinets are the Bridgewood Advantage Mission door style in maple. The countertop is Cambria quartz.

While retaining the same basic footprint, this smaller size kitchen received an incredible makeover from floor to ceiling, giving it an open, airy feel in stark contrast to its original dark decor.
