It started with a phone call inquiring about doing a basic deck remodel. When Chris Kehoe arrived on site to learn more about the home layout, budget, and timeline for the homeowners, it became clear that there was far more to the story. The family was looking for more than just a deck replacement. They were looking to rebuild an outdoor living space that fit lifestyle. There was so much more than what you can input into a contact form that they were considering when reaching out to Orange County Deck Co. They were picturing their dream outdoor living space, which included: - an inviting pool area - stunning hardscape to separate spaces - a secure, maintenance-free second level deck to improve home flow - space under the deck that could double as hosting space with cover - beautiful landscaping to enjoy while they sipped their glass of wine at sunset

Daytona Dining Table is a table defined by lines and finishes, design of which is interpreted through basic volumes without any ornamental concessions. Designed by Studio Kronos and manufactured in Italy by Cattelan Italia, Daytona Modern Designer Dining Table is pure and simple, a monument dedicated to minimal somberness contrasted by rich finishes and practical tenacity.

This family called us to help them add interest and colour to their very grey living room space. The room was partially furnished with a good basic grey sofa, a grey patterned carpet and a round navy chair. We started by painting the walls white and layering in colour and texture through additional furniture pieces and accessories like lamps, pillows and drapery. Walnut wood tones on the new mantle and coffee tables add warmth to the scheme, along with the hits of terracotta. The dated brick fireplace got a simple, inexpensive makeover with a can of white paint. A few black accents provide contrast and help anchor the room.

At first glance, the pool room had dated paneled walls and boarded up windows; the pool itself had rings and streaks and the concrete decking around it was cracked and uneven. On the upside there was an impressive wall of windows that filled the room with lots of natural light. My thought was if we lighten the walls, and darken the pool and ceiling, the contrast would give the space a rich luxurious feel. The ceiling was paneled like the walls too, but lacked its own personality. For it's make over, it required a second floor to be built eighteen feet high to do the work safely. Once it was built we added big chunky, rustic beams with iron strapping and wrapped the room with a beautiful border of scripture. One of the walls was hand painted with a mural of Jesus overlooking Israel. This amazing artwork brought in color and gives the effect of windows. The staircase was basic wood; we redesigned it with distressed wood and iron railing. There was enough space for a built in beverage bar and a space for rolled towels. The different elements working together provided the harmony in texture and color that makes it feel warm and inviting.....

This simple, timeless, refreshing master bath renovation was designed by Kimberly Kerl with Kustom Home Design. One of the most striking differences in this newly designed space is the openness and brilliance of the bay window tub area. This space was once crowded and overbearing with a large garden tub installed in an oversized cultured marble surround. The old tub protruded into the space and limited the flow and balance of the room. By removing the garden tub and replacing it with a deep freestanding soaking tub, we were able to enlarge the visual feel of the space tremendously. The transitional style incorporates traditional elements with modern and contemporary designs in a pleasing, harmonious balance. The small walled in shower stall was replaced with and enlarged corner style custom tile shower with low walls and frameless half glass panels. The custom shower has marble corner shelves, white elongated subway tile, multiple shower heads, miniature marble hex tile flooring with a contrasting tile border and polished chrome hardware. The vanity was updated with a 36" high raised counter, full overlay white doors and drawers, polished chrome pulls and knobs, and under-mount sinks set in a marble top with shaped edge. The basic layout of the space and placement of major plumbing fixtures remained the same, but the size and orientation of the fixtures was modified in a way which vastly improves the look, feel and flow of the master bathroom space. The cabinets are from Medallion's platinum line which basically means the doors are inset. The door style i s Bayshore. The main kitchen is the Divinity finish, the island is done in the Marine finish. Inset doors are not on Mike's go-to list as any change in humidity may result in subtle swelling or shrinking of the doors resulting in a place where the door rubs off the finish as it opens or where the gap between the door and frame increases. If you're good with that wearing, then it is indeed a beautiful look!

We began our design in this OKC kitchen by re-orientating the layout of the kitchen and all work zones. The homeowners wanted a larger island with space to prepare meals while capturing the impressive lake views to the rear of the home. We replaced the closed in Highbar with an open and expansive island showcasing a lowered eating area, perfect for breakfast and entertaining while meals are prepared. Our mitered door custom cabinets are presented with a sophisticated and up and coming color palette for those that are leaning away from basic white cabinets. To bring more warmth into the space, we stained the rift sawn oak in medium brown and finished with a soft glaze. We then contrast this with matte black interiors in the glass cabinets. The matte black is repeated on the venthood which has been accented with high gloss striping. The large pull-outs flanking the fridge provide plenty of storage, while the integrated backsplash shelf provides architectural interest with additional space for bottles and spices near the induction cooktop. The brushed gold hardware provides the perfect jewelry for the kitchen – now warm, inviting, and irresistible!

We started out with a fairly large townhome kitchen with very basic builder grade cabinetry. My clients knew they wanted a nice white kitchen with lots of storage. We suggested a few ideas such as a built-in hutch and contrasting island. The cabinets are the Bridgewood Advantage Mission door style in maple. The countertop is Cambria quartz.

This is our very first Four Elements remodel show home! We started with a basic spec-level early 2000s walk-out bungalow, and transformed the interior into a beautiful modern farmhouse style living space with many custom features. The floor plan was also altered in a few key areas to improve livability and create more of an open-concept feel. Check out the shiplap ceilings with Douglas fir faux beams in the kitchen, dining room, and master bedroom. And a new coffered ceiling in the front entry contrasts beautifully with the custom wood shelving above the double-sided fireplace. Highlights in the lower level include a unique under-stairs custom wine & whiskey bar and a new home gym with a glass wall view into the main recreation area.

The client manufactured car parts for GM in Michigan and this was their winter home. They had a wonderful art collection, including a Calder mobile which hung in the Living Room. This prompted an all white geometrically sculpted interior contrasted with brown brick floors. The exterior form is a direct reflection of the interior spaces. Five years later the owner's enjoyment of their home and their wonderful golf course view was shattered when a large condominium project started construction across the golf course.
