Feature WALL (far end) in the Dining Room > This feature wall was designed to 'grow' over time on the base of 'plant' wall decals and a gorgeous wood and iron shelving unit from Crate & Barrel. With the constant additions of both faux and real plants, useful daily kitchen wares and vintage collections, this wall will beautifully evolve the more it's used. In the meantime, the addition of a dozen candle holders make it a focal point during dinner parties - and a great conversation piece! The BUFFET Wall in the Dining Room > Shown ALMOST complete, the Buffet Wall in the Dining Room features IKEA Axstad drawer and cupboard units, and a temporary countertop (plywood covered in vinyl sheet sticker). The big conversation piece is the 30"x24" Butcher Block found on Auction that has been set on wheels to pull out as a Charcuterie or Wine hub for dinner parties! She is lovingly called Beastie. The IKEA Axstad upper cabinets were lined with Alison Kent HOME KITCHEN Herbal Wallpaper in Grey prior to constructing the boxes, making a beautiful backdrop for the many vintage and new dishware collections. - The Countertop will be recycled from the main Kitchen once demolition there has begun - The Cabinet pulls are expected in from England sometime soon - maybe?! - The Mirror will be a larger, vintage find - one day... - In-cabinet and under-cabinet lighting by IKEA with remote controlled dimmer - Top crown molding over cabinets to be installed when the Main Kitchen is under Construction - End Chairs - vintage off Craigslist; on the hunt for 2 feature chairs possibly in Navy Velvet one day - Flooring is XL Flooring Vinyl Plank Drop & Done in Silver Ridge (over original Oak hardwood) ALL PHOTOS by Ally Fotografy Media Co

My client's favourite colour is orange, and this colour can be seen in the choice of paint colour for the inside of the front door and the tap in the cloakroom, both adding a touch of playfulness to the space. In the cloakroom we chose Cole & Son wallpaper, presents an unexpected conversation piece and adds softness to the hard floor tiles and bathroom fittings.

This games room is truly a space for all ages to gather and have fun. Centrally located, it connects with the spa, home gym, and bootroom ensuring everyone has an opportunity to connect. Vibrant reds splash through the space, with the main event being the wet bar. This space depicts the vibrant owner’s fun loving personality, with a unique blending of materials and accented with rustic wood and light industrial. The corner built-in banquette is bar height and has a handmade table that ties together all the colours colours in the room. Metal legs give nod to the light industrial accents. The banquette’s leather seat cushions and channel backrest add comfort, and metallic wallpaper tiles brighten the corner. Higher seats allow visual connection to room, maintaining sightlines and conversation. Fireplace sitting area feature 4 wingback chairs with cowhide accents and large low-back couch. The coffee table’s wooden ends can be pulled out and placed beside chairs to play individual games. Picture TV over the fireplace can add art or entertainment. Tufted leather couch becomes a showpiece. Dart board fits nicely between pool table and couch, utilizing every inch of space. Wall mounted big screen TV keeps everyone on-top of the big game. Rustic wood pool table placed to play with space around. Wet bar raised seating area gives lots of room to gather on saddle stools. Each area of play has its own space, but are connected with sightlines for easy conversation. Gotta love the piece of cake art print, a great conversation piece. Combined with sunset painting from a local artist, these pieces follow the mountaintop theme shown in the bar light fixture and connect to the décor in the rest of the home. This multi-generational gathering space connects multiple zones into one connected room.
