The custom lacquered-finished desks with glass inlays satisfy the clients’ need for two separate work stations. A custom floor-to-ceiling media bookcase in matching grey lacquer (not pictured) houses office equipment, books, and the like.

This 1800's historic home sits in the historic district of a small community. Originally a residence, it was converted into a local bakery several decades ago. Our Design/Build challenge was how to restore the entire exterior and still keep the integrity of the original design without it looking like a new structure. Franklin added the four season porch on to the back of the barn, making it the only part of the home that is new construction. "The design was intended to have a completely different atmosphere, yet still work in harmony with the original structure," Franklin explains. We converted this screened porch to a Four Seasons Sunroom System 230 Walls Shade Straight room. The room has sliding windows of high performance Conserva-Glass Select and screens. Removed existing ceiling and exposed wood beams to give the room a larger feeling but comfortably warm.
