Because our wooden trusses are made of a lightweight material, they’re easier to lift, install and mount. Adding light fixtures is a snap because the centers are hollow and easy to drill through. Contractors love using our wooden trusses because it enables them to create endless possibilities and achieve their clients’ dreams without a bank-breaking budget.

A super simple attic to bedroom conversion for a very special girl! This space went from dusty storage area to a dreamland perfect for any teenager to get ready, read, study, sleep, and even hang out with friends.
New flooring, some closet construction, lots of paint, and some good spatial planning was all this space needed! Hoping to do a bathroom addition in the near future, but for now the paradise is just what this family needed to expand their living space.

By situating this elaborate train setup along the walls of this room with sloped ceilings, left the middle open for Angelo and his dad to access any area of the train set easily. The painted scenery on the walls echoes the theme of each vignette; in the far corner is a farm scene. Three-and-a-half year old Angelo came up with the word "traintastic" when he saw his new hobby room.

Inspiration for a small transitional master white tile and porcelain tile porcelain tile bathroom remodel in Philadelphia with recessed-panel cabinets, dark wood cabinets, a two-piece toilet, blue walls, an undermount sink and quartz countertops

This rustic great room brings together four Manomin products in one stunning interior. Hand Hewn Timber trusses span the vaulted ceiling, displaying the heavy checking, adze marks, and naturally aged patina that only comes from old growth hardwoods salvaged in neighboring Wisconsin. Reclaimed wood ceiling paneling fills the space between the trusses, completing a ceiling that feels like it has been there for generations.
At the center of the room, a solid reclaimed beam fireplace mantel with corbel supports crowns a full height stacked stone surround, turning the hearth into the centerpiece it deserves to be. The deep warm tones and handworked texture of the wood pull the whole room together.
Whether you are a homebuilder, a home remodeling contractor, or a homeowner looking to bring reclaimed wood into a great room, living room, or custom interior, Manomin Resawn Timbers has been helping people discover the antique charm of reclaimed wood since 2002. We serve homebuilders, contractors, and designers across the country. Visit our showroom in Hugo, MN or reach out to us with a call or a message to get started.

Originally unfinished, uninsulted attic space above a spacious two-car garage, this space was perfect for converting into a home office for a work-at-home client. Although the space has its own entrance from the driveway and the garage below, the goal of the project was to seamlessly match all of the finishings to the rest of the house, built in 2009.

Is all this space upstairs just for storing Christmas decorations? The owners had three teenagers who were constantly Is all this space upstairs just for storing Christmas decorations? this space up here is just for storing Christmas decorations over the only TV downstairs, and they needed a solution that didn’t involve expanding their already cramped property. When we went up to see the attic, we immediately saw the potential: good ceiling height, ample floor space, and those beautiful angled roof lines just waiting to be celebrated.
What we created is a stunning additional room that became the family’s favorite gathering place.
The transformation demonstrates how thoughtful design can turn a neglected space into something extraordinary. Those dramatic skylights weren’t originally there; we cut into the roof structure and installed them to flood the space with natural light, transforming what could have felt like a cramped attic into a spacious and luminous retreat. The angled roof lines, which could have been a challenge, became architectural features that give the room character and visual interest.
The focal point is that modern linear fireplace surrounded by elegant gray tiles and custom-built shelving. We designed the media wall to accommodate a large-screen TV while also providing storage for the family’s massive collection of books and vinyl records. Side cabinets keep clutter hidden, while open shelving showcases items worth displaying.
This conversion required significant structural work. We reinforced the floor joists to support varying loads, remember, attics are typically built only to support insulation and the occasional storage box, not furniture or people. We added proper air conditioning ducts extending from the main system, upgraded the electrical system with multiple circuits for media equipment, and installed that stylish white railing system that meets regulations and maintains the feeling of spaciousness.
The construction photos tell the real story: what began as an unfinished space with exposed subfloor and construction debris has become this elegant sanctuary. Those casement windows on either side create cross-ventilation, essential for an upper-floor space on the California coast.

Orange County, CA - Dynamic Garage Doors include multifunctional door configurations not only for regular garages but garages that have been converted to home offices, playrooms, additional bedrooms, multipurpose rooms as well as man caves throughout the Southern California regions.
This custom garage door project consisted of creating a newly renovated garage into a multipurpose room which would double as a home office as well as entertainment space for guests. The original overhead garage door was eliminated to open up the room space and give the interior of this garage a real room feel as opposed to a makeshift room with an obvious garage feel.
Since the converted garage was to be used as an entertainment area as well as an office it became obvious to introduce bi-folding doors or former accordion doors that could be pushed out of the way to expand the indoors to the outdoors and thus expanding the entertainment to the exterior of the structure as well during those summer evening gatherings. The large glass panes allow ample natural light to bathe the interior of the room when being used as an office and can keep the room's climate under controlled when the accordion doors are completely closed. These custom bi-folding doors seal out the weather while allowing the outdoors in with a warm vivid shower of natural light. What a pleasure it must be to have a working office with staggering windows that can double as an entertainment center in the evenings and weekends!
Dynamic Garage Doors aren't just garage doors, they are functional creations that come in unlimited configurations to suit your needs. Whether you're converting your garage to useful, liveable square footage or simply increasing your home's curb appeal with one of our world-class designed garage doors.
