This vintage style bathroom was inspired by it's 1930's art deco roots. The goal was to recreate a space that felt like it was original. With lighting from Rejuvenation, tile from B&W tile and Kohler fixtures, this is a small bathroom that packs a design punch. Interior Designer- Marilynn Taylor, The Taylored Home
Contractor- Allison Allain, Plumb Crazy Contracting.

This is the only bathroom on the main floor, so it had to be fab! The metallic wall covering takes it up a notch and there is a shallow built in, to house TP and other supplies.

You don't have to chose between tons of open lawn and garden beds, a well planned landscape can include the benefits of grass for playing and flower gardens for viewing.

The home office is perfect, it's tucked behind the refrigerator wall, so really don't notice it unless you make your way to the eat in dining space. The file drawers are great for school papers and bill filing and a great place to charge phones.

The landscape of this home honors the formality of Spanish Colonial / Santa Barbara Style early homes in the Arcadia neighborhood of Phoenix. By re-grading the lot and allowing for terraced opportunities, we featured a variety of hardscape stone, brick, and decorative tiles that reinforce the eclectic Spanish Colonial feel. Cantera and La Negra volcanic stone, brick, natural field stone, and handcrafted Spanish decorative tiles are used to establish interest throughout the property.
A front courtyard patio includes a hand painted tile fountain and sitting area near the outdoor fire place. This patio features formal Boxwood hedges, Hibiscus, and a rose garden set in pea gravel.
The living room of the home opens to an outdoor living area which is raised three feet above the pool. This allowed for opportunity to feature handcrafted Spanish tiles and raised planters. The side courtyard, with stepping stones and Dichondra grass, surrounds a focal Crape Myrtle tree.
One focal point of the back patio is a 24-foot hand-hammered wrought iron trellis, anchored with a stone wall water feature. We added a pizza oven and barbecue, bistro lights, and hanging flower baskets to complete the intimate outdoor dining space.

This is the third house that we've landscaped for this client. He loves clean, lush, monochromatic gardens and we've planted a magnolia and Tina crabapple tree in every yard of his.
