This siding was taken from a confederate generals home, who has the county named after him. What an incredible accent wall. The special installation is critical to getting the color to show and last. Our friends at "Funktionart" really did something special for us on this one!

Soffit & fascia are lesser known components of a home's exterior. However, they play a critical role in reducing attic temperature, prolonging the life of a roof, lowering energy costs, and improving indoor air quality. Here's a recent project our craftsmen completed for our client, Tyler.

Functionality is critical in a laundry room, especially if you're tight on space. Having a sink, some counter space, enough cabinets to store detergent, softener etc..., and still having room to hang clothes can be tricky. the right products with the right layout make all the difference.

This was a mission critical exterior door installation as this home is right on the water looking over to Fauntleroy and it gets a lot of intense weather. It was critical that we identify all of the problematic water intrusion points when we pulled out the old failed door. We did a patient and comprehensive test of the exterior to make sure we had identified all of the problem areas before we began interior restoration. The restoration of the interior was done only after all water intrusion problem areas had been tested and proven to be sealed over the course of several weeks. The client was very pleased with the thorough approach we took to the project.

Wrapping the heavy concrete blocks around the back corner and keeping the wall level in both directions is critical, but not as easy as it looks.

This property came with a house which proved ill-matched to our clients’ needs but which nestled neatly amid beautiful live oaks. In choosing to commission a new home, they asked that it also tuck under the limbs of the oaks and maintain a subdued presence to the street. Extraordinary efforts such as cantilevered floors and even bridging over critical root zones allow the design to be truly fitted to the site and to co-exist with the trees, the grandest of which is the focal point of the entry courtyard. Of equal importance to the trees and view was to provide, conversely, for walls to display 35 paintings and numerous books. From form to smallest detail, the house is quiet and subtle.

Freeing up floor space in the garage is critical. In addition to garage cabinets, Gridwall Racks with a system of hooks lets you utilize wall space to hang various types of equipment and even bicycles.

The floor's circular motif was critical to the kitchen's unique curved island. The island's granite bar top drops down vertically into the motif which swirls around the room. The whole motif was hand-drawn onsite, input into a waterjet cutting system's software program for production, and finished off with stainless steel banding surrounding the entire work.
