A colorful makeover for a little girl’s bathroom. The goal was to make bathtime more fun and enjoyable, so we opted for striking teal accents on the vanity and built-in. Balanced out by soft whites, grays, and woods, the space is bright and cheery yet still feels clean, spacious, and calming. Unique cabinets wrap around the room to maximize storage and save space for the tub and shower. Cabinet color is Hemlock by Benjamin Moore. The master bedroom has a gorgeous view to the lake. We really wanted a comfortable, yet refined approach to the space. The large headboard with low profile surround worked great for the bed – a bigger footboard would have been too distracting. The clean bench was just enough filler for the large space between the bed and TV area. We love this sofa with a cut-out in the middle. How perfect is that for lounging without cutting off the view? Soft linens, light colors with touches of that "lakey" blue really make this master feel spa- or resort-like. As usual, we changed the ceiling fan to this awesome light fixture. The first thing we changed was the light fixture. Of course, a much smaller one was there before. Then continuing with the round shape for this bay window area, we sourced a great sturdy table with a slightly distressed finish. For the chairs, these had to be more loungy in feel and style. Adding decorative pillows helped coordinate with the rug and gorgeous check drapery panels. The art, with it's lacquer finish, really ties the room to the water that is just outside. The staircase, especially, where flowing, organic lines of polished steel and palisander create a glorious fusion that I think is a new modern classic, and a hallmark of this project.

This 3,036 sq. ft custom farmhouse has layers of character on the exterior with metal roofing, cedar impressions and board and batten siding details. Inside, stunning hickory storehouse plank floors cover the home as well as other farmhouse inspired design elements such as sliding barn doors.
