Disappearing or Pond-less Waterfalls allow you to enjoy the look and sound of moving water without the maintenance of a pond. A waterfall is undoubtedly the most beautiful and coveted feature in a landscape. The Pond-less Waterfall has made many Texans who were previously unable to relax to the sweet sounds of falling water very happy. It's a great alternative for those who are just trying to 'get their feet wet' or looking to fit a little piece of paradise into their own backyard. If your Texas Landscape lacks the space or if you have safety concerns about a pond, then a Pond-less Waterfall is perfect for you.

With a limited budget, we were able to transform and update this front garden with a new modern pathway and small patio using full range Connecticut bluestone. Bulbine frutescens 'Hallmark' was planted along the pathway in mass. A variety of other low-water and low-maintenance plants. The black mulch completes this modern landscape design transformation. I included a selection of plants that provide a variety of heights, colors and textures. A great alternative to water- thirsty lawns, especially important for Northern California gardens. A French-Normandy style home surrounded by traditional gardens and modern amenities, this was a restoration planned to match the home. The gardens are formal, with straight lines and perfect hedges, with a fountain as a focal point in the most formal garden. Expansive lawns on different levels are also prevalent. Spaces are connected with paths: some formal, some rustic, and some covered. And of course there is a living room with fireplace, an outdoor kitchen and dining area, a pool with a pergola for shade, and a vegetable garden as part of the design. With the extensive space still available there will be additions to the design in the future.

This fence was constructed to provide safety, security, and curb appeal to the exposed front yard of this family home situated on busy Lincoln Drive in Paradise Valley, Arizona. The fence was designed as a modular panel system utilizing solid panels parallel to the road to block traffic noise. The solid panels weave between large palo verde trees and landscaping, and are supported by welded steel mesh sections that double as trellises for bougainvillea. The landscape lighting illuminates the undersides of the tree canopies in front of dark fence panels, while smaller plants are presented as textural silhouettes before a light washed wall.
