We were so delighted to be able to bring to life our fresh take and new renovation on a picturesque bathroom. A scene of symmetry, quite pleasing to the eye, the counter and sink area was cultivated to be a clean space, with hidden storage on the side of each elongated mirror, and a center section with seating for getting ready each day. It is highlighted by the shiny silver elements of the hardware and sink fixtures that enhance the sleek lines and look of this vanity area. Lit by a thin elegant sconce and decorated in a pathway of stunning tile mosaic this is the focal point of the master bathroom. Following the tile paths further into the bathroom brings one to the large glass shower, with its own intricate tile detailing within leading up the walls to the waterfall feature. Equipped with everything from shower seating and a towel heater, to a secluded toilet area able to be hidden by a pocket door, this master bathroom is impeccably furnished. Family members enter this kitchen from the mud room where they are right at home in this friendly space. The Kitchens central banquette island seats six on cozy upholstered benches with another two diners at the ends. There is table seating for EIGHT plus the back side boasts raised seating for four more on swiveling bar stools. The show-stopping coffered ceiling was custom designed and features beaded paneling, recessed can lighting and dramatic crown molding. The counters are made of Labradorite which is often associated with jewels. It's iridescent sparkle adds glamour without being too loud. The wood paneled backsplash allows the cabinetry to blend in. There is glazed subway tile behind the range. This lovely home features an open concept space with the kitchen at the heart. Built in the late 1990's the prior kitchen was cherry, but dark, and the new family needed a fresh update. This great space was a collaboration between many talented folks including but not limited to the team at Delicious Kitchens & Interiors, LLC, L. LOWELL CUSTOM HOMES, Lake Geneva, WI., - We say “oui” to French Country style in a home reminiscent of a French Country Chateau. The interior maintains its light airy feel with highly crafted details and a lovely kitchen designed with Plato Woodwork, Inc. cabinetry designed by Geneva Cabinet Company.

We created a light fixture (based on Lindsay Adelman's You Make It) and had it plated copper to coordinate with the lovely copper chairs. Both metal pieces were not sealed and allow the natural patina and fingerprints to add interesting texture and warmth. The shades were of a natural material and allow light to pass through for an airy feel but diffuse it enough to avoid a harsh glare. © scott benedict | practical(ly) studios

This custom 17' pecky cypress kitchen island contrasts against the painted maple inset cabinets behind it. The beautiful cypress beams in the ceiling tie in the warm wood island into this transitional kitchen.
