This kitchen got a facelift with the help of new paint, counters, backsplash and fixtures. We updated the cabinets with contrasting paint, dark island and light along the walls. New pale blue tile give the walls texture, depth and a hint of color. Floating white oak shelves are mounted with iron brackets that compliment the dark pendant lights.

The plank tile floors are set over an infloor heating system. The tiles were laid in a herringbone pattern and dark grout was used to bring in a feeling of history to this space. Then by playing with the dividers in the built in bookcases and keeping very clean lines on the windows they style of the basement feels like a modern update on a classic style. The kitchen was opened up into what is now the dining room for maximum space. Where their dining table used to be the clients opted for a large square island. They accented the medium dark maple cabinets with a black island, vent hood and molding. The kitchen has beautiful decorative backsplash and updated recessed lighting in the vaulted ceiling.

This galley style kitchen is a chef's delight with a comfortable golden triangle, exceptional appliances and functional features in the cabinetry. The European style frameless cabinetry consists of premium hard rock maple melamine boxes, doors and drawer fronts, finished in a weathered slate spray stain with satin finish lacquer. Features include soft-close cabinet doors and blu-motion slides in the drawers. The perimeter counter tops are organic white quartz. The rectangular glass tile back splash selection further complements the glass and stainless steel of the cabinetry and appliances, tying the entire look together. The sleek stainless steel appliances integrate perfectly with the clean lines of the European style cabinetry, and are a perfect complement to the adjacent upper cabinetry section of stainless steel hinged glass doors. Even the oven door handle mirrors the sleek styling of the stainless steel drawer and door pull hardware on all the cabinetry. The addition of decor accents in vibrant orange and red adds interest and character to the cool colour palette of the neutral grey tones in the cabinetry and finishes.

Stainless steel appliances help to add a touch of sophistication to the space. A contemporary white kitchen with white custom shaker style cabinets, white granite and custom lit light box upper cabinets. All put together with a pop of blue.

This gray and transitional kitchen remodel bridges the gap between contemporary style and traditional style. The dark gray cabinetry, light gray walls, and white subway tile backsplash make for a beautiful, neutral canvas for the bold teal blue and yellow décor accented throughout the design. Designer Gwen Adair of Cabinet Supreme by Adair did a fabulous job at using grays to create a neutral backdrop to bring out the bright, vibrant colors that the homeowners love so much. A wall mounted TV was added above the sink. Floating shelves were added to frame it in, at a shallower depth. The ten inch deep shelves provided enough space for the faucet and allows the sink user to not feel too crowded. The stainless steel dishwasher is the right of the sink and the double trash pullout is to the left. Dark stained maple cabients in a shaker style were used for their timeless appeal. This kitchen is home to two taller individuals who both use the space equally and requested a taller workspace to comfortably accommodate their needs. The island cabinets are standard 34-1/2” tall but the Iceberg countertops were installed with a 3” build-up to add height to the island. Cabinets on the long wall were designed to break up the wall of white: buffet on the end with walnut-framed glass cabinets and seashell backsplash; double refrigerators in a painted, distressed mahogany finish were pulled forward to simulate texture and depth on the wall; wide pantry cabinets with roll-out drawers sitting on the countertops flank the refrigerators. On the opposite wall, a new window box at the kitchen sink was built to add more countertop behind the sink and to let in more light, adding dimension to the room. The cabinetry in the original existing kitchen was disjointed at the dining room entrance and made the room appear much smaller than it really was. To remedy this, the entry to the dining room from the kitchen was closed up and relocated around the corner from the foyer; 2 simple, stacked columns were built to highlight the new opening. These transitional style columns and wider room openings at the family room and dining room entrances provide an open layout suitable for large groups to mingle comfortably; family room cabinetry and dining room fireplace surround matches kitchen cabinets.
