This white-on-white kitchen design has a transitional style and incorporates beautiful clean lines. It features a Personal Paint Match finish on the Kitchen Island matched to Sherwin-Williams "Threshold Taupe" SW7501 and a mix of light tan paint and vibrant orange décor. These colors really pop out on the “white canvas” of this design. The designer chose a beautiful combination of white Dura Supreme cabinetry (in "Classic White" paint), white subway tile backsplash, white countertops, white trim, and a white sink. The built-in breakfast nook (L-shaped banquette bench seating) attached to the kitchen island was the perfect choice to give this kitchen seating for entertaining and a kitchen island that will still have free counter space while the homeowner entertains. Gorgeous, spacious kitchen was part of whole-house renovation project. Kitchen cabinetry is Mouser Premier with the Richmond door style. A unique three-panel bi-fold door, separates the indoor-outdoor space; on nice days, plenty of natural ventilation flows through the house. Opening the sunroom, living room and kitchen spaces enables a free dialog between rooms. The kitchen level sits above the sunroom and living room giving it a perch as the heart of the home. Dressed in maple and white, the cabinet color palette is in sync with the subtle value and warmth of nature. The cooktop wall was designed as a piece of furniture; the maple cabinets frame the inserted white cabinet wall. The subtle mosaic backsplash with a hint of green, represents a delicate leaf.

The sink base features two full extension rollouts that handle trash and recyclables in the front and have divided storage for cleaning supplies in the back. No more getting on your hands and knees to access this cabinet. Idea found in Fine Homebuilding magazine. Small tilt drawer holds sponges. The raised panel, French blue cabinets are finished with a dark brown glazing. These are full overlay doors and drawers, constructed with high precision to maintain a 1/8” gap between every side of a door and drawer. PHOTO CREDIT: John Ray

This gray and transitional kitchen remodel bridges the gap between contemporary style and traditional style. The dark gray cabinetry, light gray walls, and white subway tile backsplash make for a beautiful, neutral canvas for the bold teal blue and yellow décor accented throughout the design. Designer Gwen Adair of Cabinet Supreme by Adair did a fabulous job at using grays to create a neutral backdrop to bring out the bright, vibrant colors that the homeowners love so much. This Milwaukee, WI kitchen is the perfect example of Dura Supreme's recent launch of gray paint finishes, it has been interesting to see these new cabinetry colors suddenly flowing across our manufacturing floor, destined for homes around the country. We've already seen an enthusiastic acceptance of these new colors as homeowners started immediately selecting our various shades of gray paints, like this example of “Storm Gray”, for their new homes and remodeling projects! Dura Supreme’s “Storm Gray” is the darkest of our new gray painted finishes (although our current “Graphite” paint finish is a charcoal gray that is almost black). Teagan door style in Rouge on Maple. Full overlay door, slab door and drawer front. Teagan has a sophisticated and contemporary quality, yet retains a feeling of rich warmth. this look fits well with traditional decor as well.

This kitchen showcases classic Homecrest Cabinetry in Maple Vanilla with a soft Brownstone Glaze. An accenting Cherry Java island seats four and adds a touch of contrast. The kitchen cabinets in this luxurious kitchen were painted in Benjamin Moore's "Midnight Oil", then cerused by hand with a charcoal gray tint.

White, taupe, and cocoa bean-colored cabinetry from Grabill Cabinet Company provides a neutral backdrop for high impact details. The 72” custom-built zinc hood balances the dark refrigerator cabinet with leaded watery mirror panels. Honed Orion granite on the perimeter enables the Cambria quartz countertops on the island to be a subtle stand out.

This kitchen with it's maple cabinets and island was outdated. We painted the cabinets Benjamin Moore Cloud White, painted the walls Benjamin Moore Steel Wool and added gray toned countertops in both gray quartz and a formica laminate called Soapstone Sequoia. We supported the quartz island top with rustic, reclaimed wood legs. The overall style is like modern farmhouse with a bit of country and was done on a tight budget!
