This homeowner decided to remodel her newly purchase condo. In the kitchen she chose a fun and unique color for her kitchen cabinets. The cabinets are a maple and the counter tops are a dark granite.

A stunning modern farmhouse kitchen filled with exciting detail! We kept the cabinets on the traditional side, painted in pale sandy hues (reflecting the beachfront property). A glazed subway tile backsplash and newly placed skylight contrast with the detailed cabinets and create an updated look. The focal point, the rich blue kitchen island, is complemented with a dark wooden butcher block countertop, which creates a surprising burst of color and gives the entire kitchen a chic contemporary vibe. The Kitchen was opened up and reorganized to allow better traffic flow. The lowered maple butcher block table allows for dining in the kitchen, while keeping it separate from the work area. We love this kitchen too! This is custom cabinetry with inset construction done to perfection. Maple cabinets painted white while the island is cherry with a dark rich stain. Scale and function are impossible to ignore. The glass door cabinets with the X mullion and the plate rack make this a simple elegance that everyone would love. This beautiful home boasted fine architectural elements such as arched entryways and soaring ceilings but the master bathroom was dark and showing it’s age of nearly 30 years. This family wanted an elegant space that felt like the master bathroom but that their teenage daughters could still use without fear of ruining anything. The neutral color palette features both warm and cool elements giving the space dimension without being overpowering. The free standing bathtub creates space while the addition of the tall vanity cabinet means everything has a home in this clean and elegant space.
