Our client loves to cook for her family and she requested a traditional kitchen that would blend with the rest of her home. She selected full overlay raised panel maple cabinets with a medium stain, bronze knobs and pulls and an oak floor. There are seedy glass inserts in the row above her upper cabinets. She chose all Thermador appliances including two 36" built-in refrigerator and freezer columns, gas cooktop and oven, a single oven and a microwave both housed in base cabinets. She selected Cambria quartz countertops and requested a recessed dog feeding station. We located it at the base of a tall kitchen cabinet and installed a quartz base for easy clean-up. A rustic sliding barn door with black iron hardware leads to her laundry room and adds character. Decorative lights with a bronze finish include a 3 three pendant fixture, a 5 light chandelier and 2 wall pendants. Recessed ceiling lights with dimmer switches provide plenty of general lighting. We clear coated her oak floors.

This new construction home was a long-awaited dream home with lots of ideas and details curated over many years. It’s a contemporary lake house in the Midwest with a California vibe. This simple yet elegant kitchen was planned by our lead designer, Jennifer LeMarr, for the pilot show Small House, Big Easy, which aired on HGTV and DIY Networks. The show is hosted by New Orleans native, Sarah Martzolf. Sarah works hard to restore these little gems, which are as much a part of the city's history as the Garden District and the French Quarter. The kitchen in this 958-square-foot-house was moved forward from the back of the house to create the open concept living area. The wall cabinets are 650 Painted Linen and and the base and island cabinets are 650 Maple Espresso.

In this kitchen, Medallion Gold Maple Amaretto cabinets in the Brookhill door style were installed accented with the Silverline Maple Onyx cabinets in the Fenwick door style. Brazil Oro 3cm granite with ¼” bevel edge was installed on the countertops. Full height Navona Travertine tile with 3cm and Hollywood bevel edge was installed behind the range. A Blanco Performa 1 ¾” bowl undermount sink with low divide, 10” bowls. Anthracite Brizo Single handle pull down faucet and soap dispenser in venetian bronze finish. Top Knobs hardware includes Twist Knob, Chateau II; Thames D Pull, Chateau; T-Handle Britannia; Ring Pull with backplate Chateau II in rust finish.

Boxford, MA kitchen renovation designed by north of Boston kitchen design showroom Heartwood Kitchens. This kitchen includes white painted cabinetry with a glaze and dark wood island. Heartwood included a large, deep boxed out window on the window wall to brighten up the kitchen. This kitchen includes a large island with seating for 4, Wolf range, Sub-Zero refrigerator/freezer, large pantry cabinets and glass front china cabinet. An urban twist to a Mill Valley Eichler home that features cork flooring, dark gray cabinetry and a mid-century modern look and feel! The customer elected to reface their existing oak kitchen with a more modern look. They chose a Shaker style of cabinet door, opting for a Satin White finish on solid Maple for the main part of the kitchen and a contrasting Charisma (dark) color stain on Maple wood for the island. New Granite counters were installed along with a new tiles backsplash. Storage enhancements were added to make some of the cabinets more accessible/user friendly, and more functional. New stainless steel pulls were installed to provide the “perfect” finishing touch to this beautiful new kitchen.
