This project consists of a Natural Stone Waterfall installation in a Swimming Pool in Mechanicsburg, PA. The swimming pool was installed by integrity pools & spas, and we were brought in to install the waterfalls. That Water Feature consists of two separate waterfalls which spill onto a seating or diving ledge located in the deep end of the pool. The water is then filtered and recycled through a modern pool filtration system.

This old bathroom was the last to get interior design attention in an otherwise beautiful Larchmont, Westchester home. A NYC podiatric surgeon and his lovely wife/business manager desperately wanted to [finally] renovate their master bath. The new master bathroom remodel needed to be spa-like and also fit into the rest of the home that had been carefully designed and curated over many years. Their children were grown and on their own, and finally it was time to indulge for themselves. Initially the plan was to simply replace the outdated tile, but in further discussion, it was clear that a gut renovation would be best. We began with a spa-like grey and white palette. The cool 12x24 Porcelanosa porcelain tiles were the perfect jump off point to dive into the serene concept. First, the shower was redesigned with a larger footprint and encapsulating it in beautiful, clear starphire glass. We then designed a custom space-transforming floating vanity with dark grey stained oak and a super white, engineered stone counter top. Next up, we got rid of the old built in tub and installed a stunning, deep soaking tub by Victoria + Albert. The shower and sink fixtures were also carefully curated with a distinctly European feel from the Solar line by Graff. Keeping with the simple, elegant vibe, we chose sophisticated, minimal white sconces by FLOS each side of the vanity mirrors. Contemporary recessed lighting replaced the outdated grid lights of the original bath. Now that we had our clean-lined, modern grey and white bath, we needed a light fixture to top it off. The design inspiration for this daylight basement turned guest quarters was a fusion of urban edge and a deep sea palette. Furniture was reclaimed and re-purposed in a fresh way and unexpected art was added to create visual interest. A custom mixed teal wall color creates an underwater feeling while the wood slice art adds warmth to the living area. The Barracuda art in the hallway to the bedroom was inspired by the families passion for sea diving. We worked with an etsy artist who created barracuda line drawings which we framed and wall mounted in a 'fish school' formation. The citron painted frames make the black and white drawings pop! Over the bed, we framed black fan coral in crisp white frames. The effect is delicate and artful. A basement turned guest quarters filled with sea inspired personality! Bring on the guests! This challenging site near Wolf Trap had an existing swimming pool at the end of the property. With twelve feet of grade change across the backyard, our landscape design dilemma was; how to connect the new pool with the house, create lots of living space, and still get people to the landscape below. The entire rear of the house was renovated, giving us an opportunity to build a new composite multi-level deck. We crafted a covered living space under the deck and sunroom. Gunite Pool Contractor- Company- West Islip-Long Island - NY This Gunite pool was built by Gappsi in West Islip NY. The pool size is 18x38 and Pool depth is 6 ft which makes this Gunite swimming pool a non-diving pool. With stadium stairs in the shallow area of the pool and swim out benches on each side of the deep end. This pool also has an automated safety cover which allows the pool area to be open to the rest of the yard. Fencing around the pool is not required thus making the pool patio more accessible and functional. The plumbing for this Gunite pool was done using 2 inches wide 40 schedule PVC pipes; this allows water to flow and filter at a faster rate. The pool plaster finish consists of black envil quartsscape, unlike Marbledust, is a much harder material which makes the finish of this pool last 2 or 3 times longer with the proper maintenance. A 6 inch porcelain tile bend was installed to the top perimeter of the pool wall. The tile line is used to counter water marks that occur on the walls; the tiles are also weather chemicals resistant. The pool water is leveled to the center of the tiles so halt of the tiles will always be exposed to the elements. The coping and patio was paved using flamed 2 inch bluestone tread and patio using random sized flagging with 1/2 inch cement joint in between. The pool equipment was a combination of Jandy and Hayward pump, filter and heater, to keep the water sanitized. A salt clarion generator and an ozone system were installed and the combination of these two will keep water free of alleges and impurities which makes this pool a maintenance and chemical free Gunite swimming pool.
