THE METAL & GLASS SCULPTURE COLLECTION are three-dimensional contemporary works of art containing shapes and elements inspired by nature and fantasy. Each shape and linear element floats and flows in and out of space creating interactive movement and harmony between shape, line, material, negative space, and weight. The shape elements are cut from sheet and stainless steel then colorized with metal patinas bringing out deep, rich mottled colors including turquoise, deep green and bronze, or faux finished with acrylic paints and metal powders. The linear elements are steel & stainless steel rods, bent, finished, and welded into place. The composition is framed with 1” square steel tubing painted black.

Leicht Minera Kiruna cabinets with natural wood and woven elements define the kitchen in this vast open space. Floating wood shelves highlight the functional items that add character and personality to the space. The distinctive large island includes the prestigious Gaggenau gas & induction combination cooktops for the homeowners’ culinary and entertainment lifestyle. Bold Neutrals The deliberate kitchen palette of natural neutral colors is a nod to the Modern Rustic high style. Textured deep grays and black hues combined with an organic natural wood palette, evokes sophistication and warmth. Neolith Nero Zimbabwe Riverwashed countertop and low backsplash with its deep rich color and rough texture adds to the curated mix. Minera Kiruna panels complete the backsplash composition with its natural metal vibe.

In this terra cotta and deep blue home, we used natural stone mosaics and glass mosaics, along with custom carved stone columns. Every room is colorful with deep, rich colors. In the master bath we used blue stone mosaics on the groin vaulted ceiling of the shower. All the lighting was designed and made in Marrakesh, as were many furniture pieces. The entry black and white columns are also imported from Morocco. We also designed the carved doors and had them made in Marrakesh. Cabinetry doors we designed were carved in Canada. The carved plaster molding were made especially for us, and all was shipped in a large container (just before covid-19 hit the shipping world!) This wine and bar room at the Interlachen Modern Lakehouse on Gull Lake features custom antique elm cabinetry, its deep, rich tone housing wine storage, open shelving, and drawers for spirits and glassware.
