Our clients had just recently closed on their new house in Stapleton and were excited to transform it into their perfect forever home. They wanted to remodel the entire first floor to create a more open floor plan and develop a smoother flow through the house that better fit the needs of their family. The original layout consisted of several small rooms that just weren’t very functional, so we decided to remove the walls that were breaking up the space and restructure the first floor to create a wonderfully open feel. After removing the existing walls, we rearranged their spaces to give them an office at the front of the house, a large living room, and a large dining room that connects seamlessly with the kitchen. We also wanted to center the foyer in the home and allow more light to travel through the first floor, so we replaced their existing doors with beautiful custom sliding doors to the back yard and a gorgeous walnut door with side lights to greet guests at the front of their home. Living Room Our clients wanted a living room that could accommodate an inviting sectional, a baby grand piano, and plenty of space for family game nights. So, we transformed what had been a small office and sitting room into a large open living room with custom wood columns. We wanted to avoid making the home feel too vast and monumental, so we designed custom beams and columns to define spaces and to make the house feel like a home. Aesthetically we wanted their home to be soft and inviting, so we utilized a neutral color palette with occasional accents of muted blues and greens. Dining Room Our clients were also looking for a large dining room that was open to the rest of the home and perfect for big family gatherings. So, we removed what had been a small family room and eat-in dining area to create a spacious dining room with a fireplace and bar. We added custom cabinetry to the bar area with open shelving for displaying and designed a custom surround for their fireplace that ties in with the wood work we designed for their living room. We brought in the tones and materiality from the kitchen to unite the spaces and added a mixed metal light fixture to bring the space together Kitchen We wanted the kitchen to be a real show stopper and carry through the calm muted tones we were utilizing throughout their home. We reoriented the kitchen to allow for a big beautiful custom island and to give us the opportunity for a focal wall with cooktop and range hood. Their custom island was perfectly complimented with a dramatic quartz counter top and oversized pendants making it the real center of their home. Since they enter the kitchen first when coming from their detached garage, we included a small mud-room area right by the back door to catch everyone’s coats and shoes as they come in. We also created a new walk-in pantry with plenty of open storage and a fun chalkboard door for writing notes, recipes, and grocery lists. Office We transformed the original dining room into a handsome office at the front of the house. We designed custom walnut built-ins to house all of their books, and added glass french doors to give them a bit of privacy without making the space too closed off. We painted the room a deep muted blue to create a glimpse of rich color through the french doors Powder Room The powder room is a wonderful play on textures. We used a neutral palette with contrasting tones to create dramatic moments in this little space with accents of brushed gold. Master Bathroom The existing master bathroom had an awkward layout and outdated finishes, so we redesigned the space to create a clean layout with a dream worthy shower. We continued to use neutral tones that tie in with the rest of the home, but had fun playing with tile textures and patterns to create an eye-catching vanity. The wood-look tile planks along the floor provide a soft backdrop for their new free-standing bathtub and contrast beautifully with the deep ash finish on the cabinetry.

Triskele Spiral This door was created to showcase the oversized carved triskele spiral grouping at its center, inspired by The Book of Durrow. The rich mahogany holds these spiraling Celtic designs in a lighthearted yet fashionable form, lending an inviting welcome to mountain guests as they arrive. The homeowners wanted an entrance that was beautiful yet approachable and playful for the eye, as well as an element that ties into the rock adorning their home and the surrounding mountains. Raleigh is influenced by countless individuals and cultures, but one of his most versed art forms is the Druid art of patterns and knot works. Drawing from ancient books created by the Druids, Raleigh is able to recreate beautiful designs that have deep-seeded meaning to the ancient people of Europe; The Book of Kells and The Book of Durrow are both fantastic examples. The use of triskele spirals within larger designs, as well as singular, was very popular in Celtic culture. A great example of a larger design made up of multiple triskeles can be viewed on page 29. In this design a man with a woven beard crouches in garb decorated with endless knots and key patterns as he collects a spiraling universe made up of triskele spiral groups. The Triskele Spiral door makes use of these beautiful designs, accentuated by the rich woods and fractured moss rock. The Triskele Spiral door uses the Renfree Carving Studios Earthquake Pattern to tie the entrance way to the rough rock details carried throughout the exterior of the house. This unique pattern also reflects the surrounding mountains with their vast exposed fractured stone.

A reimagined laundry room is just what this stately home needed. A generous 110 square feet, the space housed only a washer, dryer and some basic wire shelving and wasn’t living up to its full potential. To maximize functionality, we repositioned appliances away from the wall and placed them on pedestals for improved ergonomics and accessibility. A tall storage cabinet was added to the left along with deep upper cabinets above – perfect for keeping essentials organized and within reach. The transformation continued with the addition of custom cabinetry, a deep utility sink, and a striking quartzite countertop that ties the whole space together. Rich green cabinetry is the true showstopper with custom touches such as crown molding and fully finished undersides. We replaced the dark, dated floor tiles with light, durable porcelain and introduced a beautiful hexagon tile backsplash for a refined yet hard-wearing finish. In the home office, a unique, whitewash-stained wooden desk rests on metal, Sawhorse-inspired legs for a warm, rustic look. The black leather chair features a contemporary silhouette with an antique brass frame. An adjustable desk lamp has bronze accents. The bookcase combines a sleek, black metal frame with concrete shelves, for another unusual pairing. It’s kept uncluttered for an orderly, peaceful look. Items on the shelves include a bronze-accented lamp and a pair of high gloss-finished wooden bookends. The elegant artwork behind the desk is a simple midnight-blue and bronze with mottled white. Stunning Tuscan Villa set atop the southern hills of Temecula overlooking Temecula's wine country. Beautiful Custom Rod Iron railings topped with Deep cherry wood hand rails create a warm Mediterranean feel to this inviting curved staircase. The goal of this project was to transform the room into a serene and sophisticated space that serves as both a sanctuary for rest and a functional area for daily use. At the core of this design is the philosophy of blending modern functionality with an organic connection to nature through color, texture, and spatial harmony. The deep green walls are central to this design, creating a cocoon-like atmosphere while grounding the space. Inspired by nature, the color promotes relaxation and adds a rich contrast to the lighter elements in the room. This contrast enhances the room's natural lighting and brings depth to the design. The process involved pairing this bold backdrop with natural wood tones and textured fabrics to elevate the space, while still maintaining a modern aesthetic. This newly designed primary bedroom evokes feelings of peace and luxury. The deep, moody greens make the room feel cozy and inviting, while the light wood floors and white accents provide a sense of brightness and balance. It’s a space where one can truly relax, escape the demands of everyday life, and enjoy quiet moments of reflection or rejuvenation.

The Greenmeadow bedrooms, designed by Kaylee Pauley Interiors, offers a harmonious blend of serenity and timeless elegance. Each bedroom is thoughtfully crafted to serve as a tranquil retreat, featuring a soothing color palette of deep greens, creamy whites, and soft blues. Natural wood accents, such as rich-toned bedside tables and bed frames, add warmth and character to the spaces. The design seamlessly combines classic elements, like vintage-inspired furniture, with modern simplicity, ensuring a cohesive and stylish aesthetic. Soft, layered textiles—including plush bedding, cozy throws, and tactile pillows—enhance comfort and invite relaxation. Carefully curated decor, including subtle patterned throw pillows, curated artwork, and potted plants, adds personality without overwhelming the design.
