Sometimes the unique challenges of a site dictate almost everything about the end design. This European-inspired mountain retreat is one classic example. Perched atop a ridge, the buildable area was long but very narrow. A single axial line connects from the initial approach straight through the house and shoots to the view of mountains at the far end. The architecture of the home was envisioned to feel like an old French monastery-turned-family-home which has been restored and added to over several centuries. It is a place of solace and introspection, where the repetition of stone in house and landscape feels imposing, yet safe. Lush plantings line the sun-soaked parking court and dot the back terrace areas, creating delicate play of light and movement. A stepped water rill between terrace levels completes the atmosphere with its soothing babble.

Bold backsplash tiles, elegant 36” professional hood, light rail moldings, pull out Drawers and organizers inside of the cabinets, LED lighting on dimmer switches all combined with new matching wood flooring made this kitchen stand out in this space. Cabinets, Countertop and design were provided by RAJ team, along with other collaborative team work between our recommended General Contractor and our client. The entire team was awesome and the project was beautifully executed!

The Glenview Haus Transitional Collection of front doors delicately balances form and fashion to create contemporary, minimalist front entry ways. These designs encompass oversized door systems, flush doors, and floating paneled structures, which suit many of today’s eclectic homes. Crisp, narrow lines, large, uninterrupted glazed openings, and precise horizontal and vertical alignments complement many architectural styles.

Nancy Knickerbocker from Reico Kitchen & Bath in Southern Pines, NC, partnered with Christian Hipp to design a traditional-style bathroom featuring Merillat Autograph cabinets in the Ford door style with a Pebble Grey finish, complemented by Silestone Ethereal Dusk vanity tops. The remodel includes a Kohler Memoirs tub, Riff Tub Filler, Empress Bouquet sinks, and a mix of White Pearl Marble and Mystic Gray Rain tiles. A tall linen cabinet was added for extra storage, and Kohler fixtures were selected to meet the homeowners' preferences for a soaking tub and shower design. Nancy shared, "The homeowners had a clear vision, and my role was to bring it all together. We incorporated 'his' and 'hers' vanities, special tile features in the shower, and elegant plumbing fixtures to create a timeless space." She added, "This project was a pleasure to work on. Despite a few hiccups, everything came together beautifully. My favorite detail is the Kohler Empress Bouquet Conical Bell sinks—their delicate metallic patterns make a stunning statement." The focus is on the finely structured wood which is used in a number of different ways: as a delicate solid wood edge, in the varied interior fittings and as a top quality wall panel which acts as a flowing transition to the living area.

Decorated in warm and delicate tones of ivory, the features take on a unique twist when enriched with gilt decoration, frames and columns. The Melodia bedroom exudes a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere where the comfort of the night area unites with the beauty of stylistic choices which recall classic aesthetic codes – harmonies which offer a rare authenticity.

Proving that a laundry space doesn't have to be boring and drab, this space utilizes smaller appliances suited to a one or two person household and features lots of storage and a secret. Heated countertops, yes you read that right, for hanging delicates above and never, ever having a wet counter again.

The design inspiration for this daylight basement turned guest quarters was a fusion of urban edge and a deep sea palette. Furniture was reclaimed and re-purposed in a fresh way and unexpected art was added to create visual interest. A custom mixed teal wall color creates an underwater feeling while the wood slice art adds warmth to the living area. The Barracuda art in the hallway to the bedroom was inspired by the families passion for sea diving. We worked with an etsy artist who created barracuda line drawings which we framed and wall mounted in a 'fish school' formation. The citron painted frames make the black and white drawings pop! Over the bed, we framed black fan coral in crisp white frames. The effect is delicate and artful. A basement turned guest quarters filled with sea inspired personality! Bring on the guests! Designed as a private sanctuary, Ventana House is a place to retreat and reflect. Located on a steep hillside overlooking the urban sprawl, the residence feels worlds away from the city below. Its cast-in-place concrete walls anchor the structure into the rugged terrain, grounding the architecture within the landscape. This mass is contrasted by a delicate scrim that appears to float above the living spaces, all tucked safely beneath the deep shadows of a large cowboy hat roof—an essential shield against the desert sun.

The clients wanted a refresh on their master suite while keeping the majority of the plumbing in the same space. Keeping the shower were it was we simply removed some minimal walls at their master shower area which created a larger, more dramatic, and very functional master wellness retreat. The new space features a expansive showering area, as well as two furniture sink vanity, and seated makeup area. A serene color palette and a variety of textures gives this bathroom a spa-like vibe and the dusty blue highlights repeated in glass accent tiles, delicate wallpaper and customized blue tub.

Olde Florida Style Landscape off McGregor in Fort Myers. This homeowner wanted something traditional, more native and when in bloom, offering beautiful colors. We did just that. She also wanted some royal palms, as well as some Sable palms to give that Florida feeling. We love to make our customers happy. Giving them what they wanted and going above and beyond is so satisfying for our team. We are also going to be maintaining this property through our Fort Myers Garden Service company offering selective hand pruning and delicate maintenance which will allow for our plants to thrive for years to come!

This lyrical home was designed for an artist and her husband in the Northside Overlay District in Wheaton. The owners wanted a home that would fit comfortably into the established neighborhood, while creating its own presence as a new classic. While the large front porch ties the home to its neighbors, subtle details set it apart, such as the granite rubble base, the arched copper entrance, and the delicate curve in the cedar shingle roof. While the exterior echoes its shingle style roots, it is a distilled version of shingle style, a simplified rendering that sets the house firmly in the present day. The interior reinforces its stripped down persona with a long gallery and barrel-vault ceiling leading back to an intersection with the great room ceiling,- yet another barrel vault which defines the main living space in the back of the house. In all the house provides a clean canvas, ready to be filled in with the colorful detail of everyday life.

"Scandinavian Mats (God's Gift)", Living Room, 2020. Scandinavian style is one of the latest interior design trends. I love it for its purity and graphics. The interior's Scandinavian motifs send us to an atmosphere of comfort, peace, and tranquility for its natural materials and enveloping comfort. Customers already had a beautiful and thoughtful interior. Asked me to help bring some zest to the room space. The interior already had a vertical painting with a pen, in the color spectrum of which there were colors beloved by the hostess: the delicate bloom of tiffany, but a little muted, light yellow, antique black. I pushed away from this color combination. The color in the interior should be exactly the color that pleases the house residents. Since the room was on the north side, I wanted to bring some sun to the interior, revive it a little with flowers. The room's main accent was a wooden wall composition created by the masters of the company "Jamike Home Improvement," according to my drawings from polished wooden strips covered with matte varnish. They have done the job excellently! A unique graphic created precisely under this space, which brought the room to an entirely new aesthetic level. I am happy with the work of the contractors. Everything here has its character, its place. Each is self-sufficient and functional: a gorgeous coffee table made of the wooden massif, which opens and serves as additional storage. Accent Mid-century chairs are very comfortable. A natural wool handcrafted area rug is soft and cozy. The beauty of this carpet consists precisely in non-standard, lack of precise geometry. The diamond-shaped pattern of the carpet visually expands the space. The color scheme binds together all the colors of the interior as if completing the overall picture. Inspiration for a mid-sized contemporary dining room remodel in New York

Traditional design is tempered for today’s lifestyle in this stunning kitchen. Custom Bilotta cabinetry with 1” doors exudes elegance with its flush inset construction and a clean-lined stepped Shaker door. “Repose Gray” by Sherwin Williams departs from omnipresent white, yet still maintains a bright ambiance, which is reinforced by natural while oak flooring. A furniture appearance is accomplished by extending some base cabinet stiles into delicate legs. Tapered legs on the island create a “table” for casual meals. Appliances and the hood vent are paneled for a cohesive image. Taking the cabinets to the ceiling maximizes space. The range area has glass upper sections, while the countertop cabinet to the left of the window becomes a glass-fronted hutch. Emphasizing the kitchen’s traditional roots are an apron-front sink, marble countertops, and herringbone marble backsplashes. Though the room isn’t massive, it packs a lot of function. There’s space for a 48” range, a prep sink, and even refrigerator drawers adjacent to the stools. A contemporary glass and walnut table anchors the breakfast area, which includes a planning desk with white oak floating shelves.
