Silverton Custom Homes, based out of Austin Tx, is very proud to be 2013 co- Southern Living Builder of the Year. This home, built on Lake Travis, is the result of the collaborative work of Silverton Custom Homes, Home Front Design, Heather Scott Design and Geschke Group Architecture. This award-winning home strikes the right balance of casual-elegance. The exterior is timeless, but the interior is unique and fresh. It has been described as a Texas marriage between beach and barn, if the barn was in the French countryside and the beach was in the Hamptons.

The beautiful custom bookcase, designed by Studioteka and expertly built by Capri, is in! It’s hard to describe the velvety smooth finish in words, so soft to the touch and seamlessly perfect, the white bookcase will serve as a backdrop for our client’s art books, monographs, and one prized artwork, around which the piece was designed. Our integrated finger pull, designed specifically for this client and based on the measurements of her hands, can be seen in the closed storage, anchoring the piece below. Elegant feet give the piece a slight lift, allowing it to almost hover, while a hidden boxed out area below eliminates the need to rescue cat toys from underneath. No stone was left unturned on this fantastic project, which we’ve developed with a lot of love. Stay tuned for more updates as we push towards the finish line!

Sprawling and luxurious are only a few of the words that come to mind when describing The San Martino. This rambling hillside-walkout estate is bursting with spacious common rooms and thoughtful private spaces. European elements adorn the exterior, while a three-car garage promotes convenience. Inside, a more than generous great room features a wall of windows to showcase impressive views. Nearby, a large kitchen and breakfast room boast ample sitting and countertop space, not to mention an adjacent octagonal sunroom with fireplace.

Two phases completed in 2020 & 2021 included kitchen and primary bath remodels. Bright, light, fresh and simple describe these beautiful spaces fit just for our clients. The primary bath was a fun project to complete. A few must haves for this space were a place to incorporate the Peloton, more functional storage and a welcoming showering/bathing area. The space was primarily left in the same configuration, but we were able to make it much more welcoming and efficient. The walk in shower has a small bench for storing large bottles and works as a perch for shaving legs. The entrance is doorless and allows for a nice open experience + the pebbled shower floor. The freestanding tub took the place of a huge built in tub deck creating a prefect space for Peleton next to the vanity. The vanity was freshened up with equal spacing for the dual sinks, a custom corner cabinet to house supplies and a charging station for sonicares and shaver. Lastly, the corner by the closet door was underutilized and we placed a storage chest w/ quartz countertop there. The overall space included freshening up the paint/millwork in the primary bedroom. Very Special Pool, lower pool, spa, waterfalls, cabanas, slide, landscape, private fire features, wine room, expansive multi lot home, multi tier elevation, a picture worth a thousand words cant describe the feeling of this project in person, just simply stunning and spectacular!

Five stars isn’t enough! Our project was to reconfigure and update the main floor of a house we recently purchased that was built in 1961. We wanted to maintain some of the unique feeling it originally had but bring it up-to-date and eliminate the closed-in rooms and downright weird layout that was the result of multiple, partial remodeling projects. We began with a long wishlist of changes which also required replacement of very antiquated plumbing, electrical wiring and HVAC. We even found a fireplace that had been walled in and needed major re-construction. Many other aspects and details on this incredible list we made included an all new kitchen layout, converting a bedroom into a master closet, adding new half-bath, completely rebuilding the master bath, and adding stone, tile and custom built cabinetry. Our design plans included many fixtures and details that we specified and required professional installation and careful handling. Innovative helped us make reasonable decisions. Their skilled staff took us through a design process that made sense. There were many questions and all were answered with sincere conversation and positive – innovation – on how we could achieve our goals. Innovative provided us with professional consultants, who listened and were courteous and creative, with solid knowledge and informative judgement. When they didn’t have an answer, they did the research. They developed a comprehensive project plan that exceeded our expectations. Every item on our long list was checked-off. All agreed on work was fulfilled and they completed all this in just under four months. Innovative took care of putting together a team of skilled professional specialists who were all dedicated to make everything right. Engineering, construction, supervision, and I cannot even begin to describe how much thanks we have for the demolition crew! Our multiple, detailed project designs from Raul and professional design advice from Mindy and the connections she recommended are all of the best quality. Diego Jr., Trevor and his team kept everything on track and neat and tidy every single day and Diego Sr., Mark, Ismael, Albert, Santiago and team are true craftsmen who follow-up and make the most minuscule woodworking details perfect. The cabinets by Tim and electrical work and installation of fixtures by Kemchan Harrilal-BB and Navindra Doolratram, and Augustine and his crew on tile and stone work – all perfection. Aisling and the office crew were always responsive to our calls and requests. And of course Clark and Eric who oversaw everything and gave us the best of the best! As part of an interior remoderning (yep, a made up word for modern remodel) this section of the living room is home to the TV, some serious AV and inspired furnishings. Each element boldly stays in its own lane while simultaneously merging with to tell the story. Affectionately referred to as The Records Cabinet, a custom crafted barmoire (yep, better describes the cabinet) is a masterpiece. The circle motif like full silver moons - or platinum records - counterbalance the angles of the room and of the furniture. Without coincidence there are silver full moons in the most sentimental artwork in this family home.

This beautiful piece of furniture will comfortably sit two to three people. It features gimp trimming accents, bisque color upholstery and track arms ending in block style legs, making this stunning piece the perfect addition to your living room.

With a few more finishing touches to add, this kitchen is well on its way to being the place to prepare the best meals! The extra strong range hood is a 'Chinese' style fan as described by my clients.

Gracious, Inviting, Beautiful, Sparkling, Lighthearted... These are but a few words to describe our Lantana client. Perhaps she has always exuded this Joie de Vivre - or perhaps life's experiences have taught her the importance of cherishing every moment. Either way one thing is clear, our client's previous home did not ECHO her personality - and in order to do so it needed to undergo a major Metamorphosis. Our goal for this transformation was to redesign her space so that the end result would be characterized by these qualities: Light, Classic, Natural, Texture, Unexpected, Inviting. If this sounds a bit like the woman herself well...that's the whole idea.

Modern farmhouse describes this open concept, light and airy ranch home with modern and rustic touches.
