Hired by the owners to provide interior design services for a complete remodel of a mid-century home in Berkeley Hills, California this family of four’s wishes were to create a home that was inviting, playful, comfortable and modern. Slated with a quirky floor plan that needed a rational design solution we worked extensively with the homeowners to provide interior selections for all finishes, cabinet designs, redesign of the fireplace and custom media cabinet, headboard and platform bed. Hues of walnut, white, gray, blues and citrine yellow were selected to bring an overall inviting and playful modern palette. Regan Baker Design was responsible for construction documents and assited with construction administration to help ensure the designs were well executed. Styling and new furniture was paired to compliment a few existing key pieces, including a commissioned piece of art, side board, dining table, console desk, and of course the breathtaking view of San Francisco's Bay. Inspiration for a country home design remodel in Austin

Both playful and sophisticated, this dining room is designed with an active family in mind. With all the durable surfaces, it serves as a practical homework station during the day, but transitions easily into an elegant dining room by night. Display shelves are great for decorating your office with home decor, while library shelves have plenty of room to store your favorite reads. An efficient working office does not require much space, but it does require a large amount of thinking. Thanks to a custom designed home office, your mind is clear. Inspiration for a mediterranean family room remodel in Phoenix

The powder room was transformed with a cream marble floor and green marble insets, which allowed the cream marble wainscoting and top rail to run around the room. A traditional pattern with a hint of green compliments the accent and main color. An 18th Century furniture cabinet style was retro-fitted to become a vanity, with a Bates & Bates sink, and a gold faucet.
