Projet d’agrandissement de chalet à St-Donat, réalisé en collaboration avec Yannick Giasson, architecte. Nouvelle chambre des maîtres et nouvelle salle de jeux + réaménagement partiel de l’existant. L’agrandissement du chalet a été conçu de sorte à préserver la magnifique vue vers le lac à travers le bâtiment dès le point d’arrivée sur le site. L’intégration d’une structure de bois exposée, la disposition des ouvertures et l’agencement des matériaux permettent de créer des espaces lumineux en relation directe avec l’environnement.

HERE’S WHAT WE NEED: Shelf cube without rear wall, pencil, wall paint in pastel colours, paint roller, tesa® Masking Tape PREMIUM CLASSIC 30 mm AND THIS IS HOW IT’S DONE: › Stand or hang the shelf cube where you want it. Trace the inside space of the cube shelf on the wall with the pencil. Remove the shelf. › Mask the pencilled area on the wall with tesa® Masking Tape PREMIUM CLASSIC 30 mm. › Use the paint roller to paint the area on the wall. › Peel off the masking tape and place or hang the cube shelf in front of the painted area. Ronda Batchelor's laundry room is supper efficent now. She took used cabinets and spray painted them gray, faux painted a second hand countertop to create a folding table. Dirty clothes bins tuck neatly underneath.

We love to collaborate, whenever and wherever the opportunity arises. For this mountainside retreat, we entered at a unique point in the process—to collaborate on the interior architecture—lending our expertise in fine finishes and fixtures to complete the spaces, thereby creating the perfect backdrop for the family of furniture makers to fill in each vignette. Catering to a design-industry client meant we sourced with singularity and sophistication in mind, from matchless slabs of marble for the kitchen and master bath to timeless basin sinks that feel right at home on the frontier and custom lighting with both industrial and artistic influences. We let each detail speak for itself in situ.
