Envisioned as a country retreat for New York based clients, this collection of buildings was designed by MossCreek to meet the clients' wishes of using historical and antique structures. The 1980's kitchen was dark, and the cabinetry was in serious disrepair. An awkward closet was transformed into a stylish pantry, with storage for the artist's work. The kitchen has a 2" calacatta countertop and sink - a dramatic choice, but one that makes sense given the scale of the loft. Wherever possible, existing appliances were reused. This luxurious kitchen remodel by our Lafayette studio is a masterpiece of modern design. This previously unused attic space is now a sauna/yoga room. The left sauna wall follows the attic rafters down diagonally to allow a wider space for leg room on the twin sauna benches.
