This kitchen remodel was all about transformation—turning a dark, outdated space into a warm and inviting hub that perfectly balances function and style. For this blended family, the goal was to create a kitchen that reflected both clients' unique styles, merging industrial and modern elements while maintaining consistency with the surrounding spaces. Storage and organization were key priorities, ensuring the kitchen could handle the demands of a bustling household. Working alongside our designer, Vicki, the clients crafted a space that not only meets their practical needs but also embodies their vision. With a big family and a love for cooking and entertaining, the homeowners wanted a space that felt like their own private restaurant—stylish yet welcoming, with rich wood tones, striking contrast, and plenty of character. The end result? A beautifully curated kitchen that seamlessly blends form and function based on the clients’ vision. Additionally, we installed LVT flooring, which combines the beauty of wood grain with the practicality of easy maintenance for our clients. Every detail, from the thoughtfully placed pendant lighting to the functional layout of the cabinetry, enhances the kitchen’s usability and charm.

You are walking quietly through the tall grass next to a wide river, brown and fast moving from fresh floods. The hot sun setting slowly overhead. Just as the sun begins to touch the horizon, the whole sky is brushed in a rich orange hue. You emerge from the grass to be greeted by your first sight of African lions in their natural habitat and a Serengeti sunset that will stay with you for the rest of your life. This was the moment that began this project, inspiring the client to recreate that moment for their sport hunting trophy room in their home. The goal was to be able to recreate that experience as closely as possible, while also ensuring that every mount in the collection had the ideal amount and type of light directed at it. Nature exhibits an infinite amount of unique color and light environments. From rich color in every hue and temperature, to light of all different intensities and quality. In order to deliver the client’s expectations, we needed a solution that can reflect the diverse lighting environments the client was looking to recreate. Using a Ketra lighting system, controlled through a Lutron HomeWorks QS system, tied in seamlessly to an existing Lutron HomeWorks Illumination system, we were able to meet all of these challenges. Tying into the existing system meant that we could achieve these results in the space that the client was focused on without having to replace the whole system. In that focused space, creating dynamic lighting environments was central to several elements of the design, and Ketra’s color temperature settings enabled us to be extremely flexible while still providing high quality light in all circumstances. Using a large track system consisting of 30 S30 lamps, each individually addressed, we were able to create the ideal lighting settings for each mount. Additionally, we designed the system so that it can be set to match the unique warm standard Edison-style bulbs in the main chandelier, it can be set to a “Natural” mode that replicates the outdoor conditions throughout the day, or it can simulate the exact color temperature progression of that unforgettable Serengeti sunset. Control of the lighting environment and a smooth transition to the lighting systems in the rest of the home was also a priority. As a result, we installed 3 Lutron motorized shades in the space to account for ambient light, and 6 A20 lamps in an adjacent bar area to create a natural transition to the rest of the lighting system. This ensures that all of the lighting transitions, whether from the rest of the home to the trophy room or the trophy room to the outside, are continuous and smooth. The end result is an impressive and flexible display space with an added “wow factor” that is out of this hemisphere!

The Japanese rock garden or “dry landscape” garden, often called a zen garden, creates a miniature stylized landscape through carefully composed arrangements of rocks, water features, moss, pruned trees and bushes, and uses gravel or sand that is raked to represent ripples in water. A zen garden is usually relatively small, surrounded by a wall, and is usually meant to be seen while seated from a single viewpoint outside the garden, such as the porch of the hojo, the residence of the chief monk of the temple or monastery. Classical zen gardens were created at temples of Zen Buddhism in Kyoto, Japan during the Muromachi Period. They were intended to imitate the intimate essence of nature, not its actual appearance, and to serve an aid to meditation about the true meaning of life. A Zen garden is an interesting and deeply spiritual aspect of Japanese gardening traditions. The typical Zen garden consists of an enclosed and shallow sand box of sorts which features predominantly sand or gravel with rocks of various shapes and sizes. The rocks and sand (or gravel) are the chief elements of the garden, which generally creates the scene of islands in the sea.

The aesthetic for this home is organic modernism. It combines natural materials and colors with modern elements for an airy and sophisticated look. The furniture consists of clean lines, rounded shapes and smooth surfaces that are accentuated with a variety of leathers, metals, and neutral linens to introduce texture and an organic feel. To give the home just a splash of color we used the warmth from cognac leathers and deep soft blues throughout the accessories. Overall, the contrast between modern and organic creates the perfect balance between clean and comfortable that will appeal to any future homeowner.

VILLA THEA is divine place for a luxury life on Zakynthos Island. Designed by architect Lucy Lago. The philosophy of the project is to find a balance between the architectural design and the environment. The villa has flowing natural forms, subtle curves in every line. Despite the construction of the building, the villa seems to float on the expanse of the mountain hill of the Keri region. The smoothness of the forms can be traced throughout the project, from the functional solution on the plan and ending with the terraces and the pool around the villa. This project has style and identity. The villa will be an expensive piece of jewelry placed in the vastness of nature. The architectural uniqueness and originality will make villa Thea special in the architectural portfolio of the whole world. Combining futurism with naturism is a step into the future. The use of modern technologies, ecological construction methods put the villa one step higher, and its significance is greater. It is possible to create the motives of nature and in the same time to touch the space theme on the Earth. Villa consists by open living, dining and kitchen area, 8 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, gym, cellar, storage, big swimming pool, garden and parking areas. The interior of the villa is one piece with the entire architectural project designed by Lucy Lago. Organic shapes and curved, flowing lines are part of the space. For the interior, selected white, light shades, glass and reflective surfaces. All attention is directed to the panoramic sea view from the window. Beauty in every single detail, special attention to natural and artificial light. Green plants are the accents of the interior and remind us that we are on the wonderful island of Zakynthos.

It's definitely not a typical prefabricated house out of catalogue as we tried to develop a residence that meets the needs of modern users while having functional floor plans and contemporary elegant exterior all appropriately settled into its landscape. Main concept presents three volumes that are placed in a triangular composition partially overlayed with a rectangular form of the upper floor. While the dynamic shape of the groundfloor is covered with a flat roof, the 1st floor is completed with a gable –like roof, echoing the traditional architecture of the house's surroundings. While we enter into an open spacious and dynamically shaped groundfloor we discover a pleasant intimate ambience. The living room and dining area offer a lot of natural light through the large glazed window surfaces. A prominent staircase leads us to the upper sleeping area that consists of the main bedroom with its own dressing room and a bathroom and children's rooms with a smaller bathroom. Despite groundfloor's dynamic shape, its façade is monochrome - predominately a clean white surface in combination with bigger windows. On the contrary the simple form of the upper floor has a boldly designed façade - a combination of dark colour shades and natural larch wood’s textures. Wood is the basic structural element and at the same time complements the facades, window frames, while also dominating the interiors.

This project consisted of a second story addition of approximately 750 sq. ft. over an existing garage/ living room. The new addition features a gable roof with dental molding & cedar shake details paying homage to the architecture of this traditional home.

The Blabla collection consists of two different functional units, a bookcase panel and a mirror panel, which when paired together create a system of elements that can be individually positioned or combined in an elegant composition. The distinguishing feature of the Blabla bookcase and mirror is the rounded profile of the shelves and side support panel, as well as the interruption and discontinuity of the shelves.

2024 interior design trends are moving beyond the classic white and gray toward warmer tones that create an ambience of comfort and connection with nature. This year, the spotlight has been on warm tones paired with green accents that are both inviting and rejuvenating. This Stoneunlimited Kitchen and Bath client's home serves as a beautiful example getting back to warmer neutral tones of incorporates deep chocolate tones, warm browns and taupe to create a harmonious feeling as you walk through each space. Creamy gray painted walls are the perfect backdrop for the bolder design elements found in the exposed beams, backsplash, two tone cabinetry and accent walls. This home remodel has been inspired by nature. The dynamic sage green paint on the wall of the dedicated beverage station and in the living room bring life to each space. Our client has tastefully placed accent foliage and other decor throughout the home that has brought the outdoors into each room. Textures in the backsplash, natural wood grains in the cabinetry and exposed beams create a forest feel which is both inviting and peaceful. Stoneunlimited Kitchen and Bath Remodeling had the opportunity to help this customer achieve their dream of a fully remodeled main floor which included: kitchen, guest bathroom, dining room, kitchenette, pantry, living room and office. Extensive carpentry work was performed in what used to be a dinning and sitting room on the main level. A large wall was removed, and a new wall was created with a door entry and a recessed beverage station was installed with two tone upper and lower cabinets that house a small fridge. The upper cabinets with lighting were installed inside the glass upper cabinetry to add layered lighting to the space. Three wood beams were installed in the ceiling and a new kitchenette/pantry area was created behind the newly constructed wall. The kitchenette/pantry area includes a tall storage area as well as upper and lower cabinetry with a sink and small fridge. The kitchenette pantry is a perfect place to house countertop mixers, crock pots, air fryers or other small appliances that are accessible for immediate use. The main kitchen tops remain free of small appliance clutter and the countertops become an expansive workspace. The existing kitchen had a peninsula that made the area feel confined, prior to the kitchen remodel portion of the project. The peninsula was removed, and the fridge was relocated to the opposite wall, across the room to create a more open feel. Although a working island was installed, the flow through the kitchen feels more open and fluid than it did previously. The work island houses the microwave as well as additional storage. Spice and utensil pull outs to the left and right side of the range keep prepping utensils and seasonings conveniently tucked away. Other projects that were completed included in the home included new cabinetry and floating shelves that were installed in the living area. The two-tone aesthetic of the cabinetry is consistent with the other areas of the home and merge beautifully with the natural stacked stone feature in the fireplace wall. Darker lower cabinets anchor the room while lighter warmer upper tones provide a lighter feel without overpowering the space. The guest bathroom off of the living area was also remodeled. Taupe tones were introduced with the natural warm tones of newly installed cabinetry and countertops to maximize the storage space. 6 1/2 x 40" nut brown plank tile was installed and can be seen throughout the expanse of the first floor, giving the appearance of wood but are porcelain which are highly durable and easy to maintain. The homeowner also opted to have their main stairwell redone which included removing existing carpet, installation of stair treads and hardwood for the steps and landing area which included sanding and staining. Overall, the interior remodel of the main floor of this client's home was extensive and the impact of the changes that were made are incredible! The choices that were made with our client make this remodel not only specialized and customized to their everyday needs but a beautiful representation of how a dream home remodel can be achieved and accomplished. This home remodel checks all the boxes for what's in trend in 2024. Just Grillin was originally contracted to design and install an outdoor kitchen and bar-height island tabletop. By the end, Just Grillin completed the cabana (which was left unfinished by another contractor), created a stone accent wall along the backdoor wall and added a stone wrap to the cabana columns. The kitchen features encapsulated polymer cabinets which are outdoor rated and extremely durable in the harsh Florida elements. The legs of the bar-height island tabletop are also made in this material. The client choose an Alfresco 42" AXLE grill and U-line 24" Outdoor Fridge. Hidden in one of the cabinets is a drawer that fits a Yeti cooler. The stone backsplash seen along the kitchen was completed by Just Grillin. The cabana seen in pictures was left unfinished by another contractor the client hired. The client then contacted us about finishing it and the result is what you see pictured. The client also had a lot of leftover stone from other projects and asked if we could create something with it. Just Grillin was able to create a stone accent wall along the backdoor of the house to add some flair to a covered lounging area. Just Grillin also wrapped the bottom half of the cabana columns with the same stone completing a consistent and stylish look throughout the back patio area.
